The location was convenient for taking a stroll through town. The staff were very welcoming and the pub itself was very nice.
It was unfortunate but in the very hot weather the bedroom was like an oven. There was very limited ventilation and keeping the small window open meant that we could hear everything going on in the courtyard below. I could not recommend this as a place to stay in hot weather.

Lovely, quaint and comfortable rooms in a quiet corner of this town centre pub. Loved the provision of instant porridge for breakfast 😋
Loved the mood lighting but could have done with brighter central light (minor issue unless needing light to put makeup on).

Everyone was very friendly and the location was great. The rooms were nice and big. Tea and coffee available which was nice.
It was far too warm - I know it was a heat wave but only one fan in the room given it had limited ventilation didn’t cool the room. It’s was like sleeping in a sweat box.
