We love this place but it is getting tired. The maintenance is in need of an uplift and the rooms and lounge areas need a refit. Still a lovely stay and Sindhu was excellent for lunch. The reception staff for the hotel were OK but lacked motivation to welcome their guests with any enthusiasm. Breakfast was excellent and the setting for the hotel sets this apart from most.

The breakfast was lovely, sat overlooking the river, service was polite and prompt.
The room we had overlooked the weir and was spaceous. It was clean except for a glass
