It’s a old hotel the staff was pleasant the room was very clean the heater was noisy the bathroom was very small and the bathroom counter was very low. We had a terrific time on our anniversary

Beautiful historical property. Well kept. The restaurant is the best in the area - the food is outstanding. The rooms are small, the locks on our room door were old and difficult to open and lock. We were not able to control the temperature in the room. It was set at 65 and the room was still very hot. There is no elevator. I ice machine was not working.

Great stay, the Inn is old so some things were dated (ie: our room had very low water pressure in the shower) but it was clean, quiet and comfortable! Attached to the restaurant so it was very easy and convenient for dinner and breakfast. Easy to drive to Beach.

Historic Tavern/Restaurant onsite attached to hotel. Outside seating available, easy drive-in parking lot. Convenient stores and other food options close by. Friendly service. Beach close by. Decor dated in New England but cozy and warm.

Lamies was the sweetest Inn. We adored every bit of our stay from the adorable lady who was so warm and kind, to the restaurant which provided one of the best meals of our trip, to the surprise in our room. We had asked them to place a copy of their favorite poem in our room and they actually did! It was something we wanted but didn’t know if they would do. We were truly delighted to see it there printed out with a couple of chocolates. We read the poem called After Apple picking by Robert Frost while laying in bed and it really added to the whimsy and feel of our stay. Thank you so much to the thoughtful staff!!

We arrived later in the day on a rainy autumn evening. We were exhausted. The lobby felt like we were coming home after a long journey. SO friendly and cozy! It was like we were at someone's home who had been planning our visit.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is amazing. The complimentary breakfast is beautifully laid out, fresh and delicious. We ate two dinners at the hotel and the paid Sunday brunch and all were wonderful HIghly recommend this hotel/restaurant.

A happening place, retro and a throwback to when we had to use actual keys. Full of charm and the food in the restaurant was delicious and plentiful. The continental breakfast was very good as well.

We started off with dinner at the Old Salt Inn……. Fabulous! We were super pooped from our day of travel and sight seeing, so we were ready for bed! Great beds and pillows! This is an older building so we didn’t expect fancy and new decor. It’s a quaint Inn with dated bathrooms etc, but that’s what gives it charm! We highly recommend Lamie’s Inn and Old Salt Restaurant !

Liked the canopy bed. Room was clean. Carpets need to be replaced. Room and Inn smelled musty. The continental breakfast was not as described. The yogurt, fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs we’re not kept cold. They were sitting on the table without any ice all morning long. I brought that up to the person working at the front desk as unrefrigerated food can spoil easily. Inn is in need of an overall upgrade. Annuals need a lot more care around the Inn and dining areas.

What are charming wonderful little place! Staff are delightful, breakfast is top notch continental. If you like a modern atmosphere, this place is not for you. If you like charming, throwback, friendly, happy.., book it! If you intend to eat at the restaurant, I suggest to make a reservation. It’s very popular!
