I had a wonderful stay at The Annesley. The parking was easy, safe & reasonably priced - you can walk into Norwich city centre in under 10 minutes, its very straightforward. Perfect location and they kindly gave me a room towards the back, which I found quiet. The room was clean, tidy & well equipped for a small room (which I’d requested/paid for) - it was so much better than I’d expected it to be. A lovely sitting room on the ground floor for reading or socialising & it was also nice to have a drink in the garden (good weather). The bar was easily accessible & the 3 staff members I encountered during my stay were all friendly. I didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on the food, but from what I did see it looked lovely! Would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Norwich, especially if you’re wanting to explore the castle, cathedral or city centre.
