The room was perfect for us. It was a large room with a couch. Both the bed and couch were comfortable. The free breakfast was good and there were a lot of options. The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was in a great location and close to many restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

We chose to stay here because Holladay Inn is always consistent. The rooms are large which we needed having 2 young kids. The beds were comfortable. The condition of the room was great. Saw housekeeping and asked us if we needed anything extra. The continental breakfast was the seller lets be honest, especially with kids. Liked all the breakfast options daily. The coffee was great! I know that can be a big thing in the mornings. The staff at the desk and for the continental were very helpful and friendly. I honestly cant say anything negative about this visit!! They said the sister property would let us use the indoor pool if we wanted.

Great place to stay! Very quiet, convenient location, friendly staff, lots of breakfast items, comfortable bedding, and a Keurig in our room. Also liked the walk-in shower with Dove products. Will definitely stay here again.

Never have I stayed in a nicer hotel. Every single thing missing from all the places I have stayed in was in place here. Even a built in night light in the bathroom.

We rarely leave reviews on our stays, but this hotel was a fantastic experience. Great location, very clean, and friendly staff. The hotel’s layout is a bit quirky, but once you get to the room you forget all about it. The bed was comfortable and the parking was convenient.

This was my first experience at a Holiday Inn Express, and the Hickory location exceeded my expectations. Bright and clean decor, friendly staff, comfortable bed + pillows, very nice breakfast. I highly recommend to anyone passing through the area.

This hotel is the best one we've used in Hickory. The rooms open inside, so it feels secure. The property is in excellent condition and clean. The location is convenient for access to the interstate as well as for food/shopping options. Wi-Fi worked well and the room was clean and comfortable.

The front desk staff was very helpful and professional. I don’t remember her name, but the front desk attendant remembered me from having been there a couple of weeks prior. She checked in with me after we checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

I would rate this as my best hotel stay in years. The rooms were spacious and quiet and the staff welcoming and helpful. Little things impressed me such as soap and shampoo dispensers, facial wipes, a variety of coffee, and the best breakfast selections! There were even "grab and go" bags for fruit, muffins, etc. to take with you for later snacks. The hotel was beautifully decorated and located within walking distance of Panera where we enjoyed dinner. Lastly, the price was exceptionally reasonable. We plan to frequent other Holiday Inn Express hotels because of our wonderful impression of this one.

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Hickory. I’ve spent hundreds of nights here. Good breakfast. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Nice showers. Spacious rooms. Good WiFi. Free cookies in the afternoons. Easy check in/out. Coffee ready when I want it. Great stay.

I woke up with a bed bug crawling on my arm. When asked for a refund they said I should have captured it to prove it. I took a picture that was time stamped but still not heard back. Ridiculous to pay this kind of money and end up sleeping in my car and had to throw all of my luggage and belongings away in fear of bringing them home.

We were in town for a AAU tournament and needed a place to stay and I’m so glad we chose here! Rooms were clean and the employees were very professional. If we are ever in the area I would definitely stay here again.
