There are RR tracks right behind the hotel, heard a train go by 3 times. This is Hotel.com's fault. They did not detail my billing to show that I paid for 2 breakfast vouchers so I didn't get them and lost that money. First hotel that did not have free breakfast. If you want to stay at a Holiday Inn make sure it's an Express. Stayed in 9 different hotels over the last 13 days, this one was the worst.

The room was convenient and had easy access to where i parked. The concierge was very accomodating to my request. The carpet in the room is very old and dirty, I would not be barefoot in there. The bedspread had stains on it. The bed and pillows were wonderful after a day of travel. I love the parrot in the entry. The room was clean, so no offense to housekeeping. Room just needs and update.

I really enjoy staying at this hotel the staff are very friendly and try to resolve any issues you may have. This hotel is pet friendly and has an indoor area for you to walk your dog which makes very good at night specially if you wife is by herself.

Poor service from front desk personnel. Average hotel. The room we had was very noisy (near the elevator), and kept us up most of the night.
Pretty disappointed. This was our 4th stay at this hotel. There likely won’t be a 5th.

Room was clean (but a dated), bed super comfortable and food (dinner and breakfast buffet) perfect for the road warrior.

We have been staying at this hotel 2 to 4 times a year for the past 8 years with no complaints. This time we were put in a room 515 right behind and adjacent to the elevators. If you could imagine a generator intermittently starting and stopping inside your room all night long. We are now sleep deprived facing a 11 hour journey. This room should be converted into storage. The front desk clerk acknowledged that the room is noisy.

Very nice hotel and very family friendly. The staff was so kind and helpful. My kids especially loved the pool and all the other fun amenities they had to offer. Will definitely consider this hotel in my future travels through Charleston!

Great room for a quick stop. The hotel was packed. We booked a 2 queen but were given a king suite with no warning. They gave us a roll away bed at no charge for the inconvenience. Staff was very helpful, we were just tired and ready for bed as we stopped at midnight. Floors and walls needed some cleaning. Beds were clean, but noisy when you turned over. Overall, minor issues. We would stay here again.

Pretty sure if we didn’t run into the drainage issue from our first room, the experience would have been very pleasant. The second room was nice but located right beside the elevator which was absurdly loud. We decided to cancel our second night right away since we were told the hotel was at capacity. It was nobody’s fault because the maintenance guy did try to fix the sink but the problem was beyond his ability. I would recommend the stay since it’s a pet friendly hotel, however, stay away from the elevator.

My family and I loved the pool. The sheets on the beds were the most comfortable sheets I've ever slept on.

Don't have coffee station access, must ask for it and no creamer. Did get me creamer . Bathrooms need to be updated . Maybe beds as well.

The heating system sounded as if you were on the runway inside a plane. The shower was so loud and made noise of a bad opera singer. I love Holiday Inn Express but this was very disappointing.
The staff was very nice .

Very exquisite pool, good for kids with it having a shallow end. Property is clean. Staff is very friendly.

The stay was in a great location, relative to my work. Though the hotel had a nice looking breakfast/bar & grill area, there was also a nice Greek style restaurant very close by called the Olive Tree. I hadn't tried that type of food before, so I had to check it out, it was great! If you stay at this hotel, check out The Olive Tree.
By the way, the hotel staff was great, very friendly, just like family. There is nothing I found negative about this hotel. I would strongly recommend the stay here.

This is a nice hotel with an indoor swimming pool and decent bar and exercise room but we had an incident with ants in the room devouring our pizza and a recurring fee put on my credit card that I was told was an incidental fee but was still trying to be charged 2 days after check out. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean except for the ants. Overall we wont be spending $180 a night before all the incidental fees which a staff member apologized for today blaming it on me booking through Expedia.

Such a nice DOG FRIENDLY hotel. We stayed the night to break up a road trip and I felt absolutely safe and comfortable with my dog and infant in this hotel.

We selected a non smoking room and unfortunately it smelled terribly like cigarettes. Our child and belongings smelled after just an overnight stay. Room was tidy but not clean.

Clean hotel with nice comfortable rooms and beds. Great pillows. TV worked. Remote worked. Easy to get on interstate. Restaurants nearby. Although it was an overall nice stay, I wished the water pressure was better and I wished the fire alarm didn’t go off at 7:30 am, because I was sleeping very well for someone that doesn’t sleep.
