We were disappointed in the quality of our room. Our door would not close without pushing with all your body weight. The bathroom was clean but poorly maintained. The toilet seat was loose and felt like it was going to fall off. The faucet handle on the shower and sink were so loose it was just a matter of time before it fell off. This made it very difficult to to adjust the temperature of both and posses a danger of being burned by hot water. What bothers me most is housekeeping is in this room most likely daily and no managers are aware of the dangers I explained.

You could hear every toilet flush all night long. There was very little water pressure so it took forever to get the bad shampoo out of my hair. We were charged an additional $20 for a third person in the two Queen room but they only gave us enough towels, coffe and shampoo for one person.

Only issue we had was parking if you did not get to the hotel early in the evening due to huge trucks and your buses there were no parking spots anywhere near, we would have to walk a while. Also on night one someone had a 2yo running in hallway completely alone screaming and crying at almost midnight we held the child and my husband called the front desk. Maybe they were confused on what was happening but it took a long time to come to us, also when we found out where the child belonged there was something strange going on in the room I felt as tho the police should’ve been called, the staff assured me they would be however we found out they were not that was the only issues. Hotel was clean staff really nice food great, just think maybe they need more training on what to do with an emergency and maybe have parking for large trucks and your buses in a separate area

The first room we were assigned was poor for several reasons. As soon as I complained, we were moved and given free breakfast. The new room was great.

There was no refrigerator in the rooms but they had a microwave. Pool was not clean and we complained to front desk. Was there for a birthday gathering and the hotel was close to the club. The hotel was nice and clean

Overall not a bad stay. Very busy area, parking fills up fast. Wawa right next door, as well as Ikea. Had to navigate the hotel. It's not just a normal one 9tower one, tower two etc...) No Breakfast, have to pay. Might stay here again.

The indoor swimming pool was nice! Friendly and helpful staff, and the room was comfortable. The Holiday Inn was clean. It's across the street from an Ikea, and you can walk to a Chipotle's. Good value.

This was a very disappointing stay. But first, the positives: 1. The hotel was relatively clean. 2. My room was comfortable. 3. I had 2 positive interactions with staff. 4. Maintenance staff were efficient and professional. The negatives: 1. Breakfast is not included, though it's implied that it is. Not to worry because-- 2. Breakfast ioptions are HORRIBLE. The eggs are labeled as cage-free, but I'm unaware of shelled eggs that look and taste like powdered eggs. And if the eggs WERE, in fact, real eggs, shame on the cook!! The bacon was limp and soggy, the sausage was undercooked. Even the juice was nasty. Definitely not worth the $15.50 they charge. 3. The hotel advertised a shuttle. There was a shuttle on premises. But there was either no one to drive the shuttle, or the shuttle wasn't working. I'm not sure which, because no one could get the story straight. Regardless of the rationale, I had to use Uber to get to and from my daily meetings--an expense I hadn't figured into my trip planning. 4. The indoor pool would have been a great amenity... but the water was green. In all, it's quite a shame that a hotel in such a great location exhibited such disinterest in offering high-quality customer service. Please know that I attempted to share my experience with the general manager but, at the time of this review posting, I've not received a response to my request for a conversation.

Check in was smooth overall stay good. IT WAS THE BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE. First off staff was late me and my spouse arrived, people were eating for free. We decided to sit when staff showed up she was pushy and rushed us. I went to get more apple juice and saw a ROACH on the counter by the breads and food!!! We showed the woman working she acted like she didn't see it even with photo

Not providing online check out and also not having final bill ready for pick up leads to inefficient and delaying check-out experience. About 10+ minutes behind one other customer just to ask for receipt, which then had to be generated.

In the last 30 days I’ve stayed in at least 5-6 different hotels in multiple states and I have to say by far this was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had.. The hotel was beautiful! Immaculately clean.. plenty of parking.. Our room was HUGE! So much space! The pool was fabulous.. clean and warm.. Breakfast Buffet was DELICIOUS with A lot of options.. Now on to my favorite part… the staff! One word… INCREDIBLE! From the wonderful young lady who checked us in when we arrived extremely late because of traffic.. to the lovely woman who worked the breakfast buffet she was an absolute doll.. the GM checked us out and she was over the top nice and kept making sure that we had a good stay.. I keep telling my husband I want to go back to Maryland just to stay there again…

The hotel itself was very nice and conveniently located for what we were there for. However, upon entering our room, both bedside lamps weren’t working, and we had to take the tank lid off of the toilet in order to flush. Very inconvenient. Good thing we were literally only there to sleep and be on our way.

2nd time staying here. Its a good hotel but it needs a face lift. Need new blankets and shower curtains. Bar on a Saturday during Parent Weekend at campus decided to close early (before 930pm) which is odd, busiest weekend of the year. Need more parking. Need more staff. Staff working was wonderful though. Had a large issue and they did a wonderful job fixing it. Location convenient

Great stay for family weekend. Clean, comfortable, accessible with modern furnishings and not too far from UMD College Park or from D.C. For the price, I expected a larger room and better/more sufficient coffee supplies and complimentary water. Parking was not so easy - parking lot often packed. Check-in and checkout was smooth.
