Tip: try to get a room facing the Adriatic sea. The views are amazing, especially of the sunsets. Pro tip: if your budget allows, definitely try to get the presidential suite. There is more than one. The staff could not be more friendly or attentive. Amenities are amazing. The Atrium library is not to be missed. Best hotel I ever stayed at!

Beautiful, historic hotel located right on the waterfront, just steps from Piazza Unita d’Italia. Canal Grande and the other sights of Trieste are 5-10 minutes walk away, with the main bus and train stations approximately 15 minutes walk away.
We decided to upgrade to a waterfront room with balcony which turned out to be the best decision ever as - pure coincidence - there was a drone show over the water that night so while thousands of people jostled for a spot, we relaxed on our balcony with a bottle of wine enjoying our prime location!
The room was enormous and very clean with everything you could need. The decor throughout the hotel is very traditional and luxurious. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.
