The bed was good. The bathroom area spotless, very clean. The air conditioner did not work. The heating system had no adjustment as it was either off or on using the gas fireplace. The pilot light in the fireplace which you could see clicked 24/7. The entry door on the inside had not been cleaned or painted in a very long time. The outdoor carpet in the hallways was tatered and torn. The spa was filthy and the pool clean, doesn't make sense in April. The reported danish breakfast was two danish that were dry and not fresh on morning one and only one on the table when I went on morning 2. All this did not live up to what was on their website and the reviews I read. I will not stay here again.

The water heated swiftly The room was cold and the heat took an hour to warm. Old out dated rooms. Person on duty was not skilled nor cared at all. You get what you pay for. This was on the cheaper side. Just don’t do it pay the extra $20 for another place. Only stay if there are no other options

This was the nicest room we have stayed in for a very long time. Clean, well kept, exceptionally well appointed, large just a great value. The property is older but very well maintained, a very nice place to stay... recommended.

The room had a strong smell of floor cleaner that wouldn't go away. It was so over powering. Booking saud breakfast included but all that was available was danishes and napkins.

False advertisement!!! No continental breakfast whatsoever!!! They left a donut size box of danish on the table and claimed it breakfast! NO water, no coffee, absolutely nothing else! Linens/sheets are old. Will not recommend it to anybody!

This hotel is very old/dated - BUT, it was clean, the bed was truly comfortable, the towels were extra fluffy. And, the people were wonderful and nice. If you are looking for a luxurious stay -- this place is not it. But, if you want a clean, comfortable, affordable place to stay -- this hotel is perfect.

We have stayed here may times. This is the first time I was unhappy. The inside of the rooms needs updating. TV's not so good. Sheets felt very rough. They still are not cleaning rooms due to covid.

We took our whole family on a mini Christmas vacation. We wanted to experience Christmas in Solvang and look at the pretty lights and decorations each store had. Booked four rooms #15,17,53,55 each room was perfect for each my kids and their family. 53&55 had electric fire place. 55 had like a kitchenette and a big bathroom. Each room had a unique look. They were in the process of putting new flooring in other rooms. Beds were comfy. Pillows not so much, needed to get new ones. Office staff was very nice and helpful. For an older hotel it was very clean. Location was perfect, you could walk to the shops and restaurants and not have to drive. I would stay there again.

This was our first trip to Solvang and I saw this was on the main strip. On the outside it's super cute and a reflection of the culture there. Once we got to our room though, the door was crooked hanging off the hinge and from the outside you could see through the crack into the room where the TV was. The room we had was a suite and very massive. The walls were thin and we could hear the neighbor units talking through the wall. The staff was very nice and friendly. All of the shops were super close with easy walking.

Bad costumer service. And the “free breakfast” is only danish nothing else. We stayed for one night for thanksgiving 11/23-11/24/23. When we got to our room the AC wasnt working and when we informed the front dest (eric) he said he will come up and check it, we waited and no one came. I came down to the front desk and the lady said she will check it. After she checked she informed us that it they weren't able to fix it and we have a choice to move or use the fan. We chose to just use the fan since it was cold. They promised us a percentage to be refunded back and we agreed. When i called again today to ff up for the refund i was told by Eric from front desk that the AC was working and wasnt broken and since i booked it through expedia they can’t do a refund.

We have stayed here before 2 years ago. The hotel is fine but for $288.00 I wouldn’t except a dead bug in the bathroom as soon as I walk in. Also saw a dead bug in the hallway…Other then that it’s ok, the doors slamming in the other rooms can be noisy.

We stayed overnight here. The inn was easy to find as you come into Solvang. The room was clean but dated. There was a fire place in the room, that was nice. The TV wasn't convient. It was placed to the right of the bed, so you had to turn your head to the right in order to watch it. It should have been placed over the fire place. The bed was comfortable. I was able to charge my car right next door. There was a charging station in the parking lot. Everything was with in walking distance. All in all, our stay was great here, if you are looking for a place to overnight. This would be even better if this Inn could get a face lift.

Older property but great location. Management let us park on-site before check in time. Great location as you can walk anywhere in Solvang from the property. Had fresh pastries when we checked out. Would stay there again for sure.

The best part of this place is the exterior. Seems like they gave it a fresh coat of paint and called it good. Has a pool and hot tub as well which were small but decent. The room was clean but dated. I felt like the price we paid was double what it should have been.
