This didn’t look like a Best Western. The sheet had a red stain. There was hair on the restroom floor. The television did not work.

There was a light switch for my room but it turned nothing on. The access for some emergency shut offs for the entire floor was in my room, which felt pretty dangerous for the entire floor if I were to put the deadbolt on. Sheets felt awful, but it is a motel, so meh that was average. There are motels similar price closer to Disney that rate just as well if you are concerned about distance to Disney. This was just an overnight stay before heading out of California. But the complimentary breakfast wasn't open at 7am. I didn't look at the hours. So if it was supposed to be open by then, well it wasn't during my visit.

We prepaid for our room, we arrived at 1:45 and we were told we could not check in untill 3:00 so we left to do some sightseeing and returned around 7:30 the person at the front desks was rude he said ill have to see if we have a room for you, you should have been here at 3:00 i also have a service dog and he informed me that they are not pet friendly. And if the service dog gets on the bed its a $100.00 fine. My dad has a mobility problem and PTSD the night person needs to find a new job?

Check in was good. Hotel accommodated my needs. Problem was the person staying next to my room was a transient. VERY weird person that has been there for some time. Tried talking to my young kids. She actually entered my room while I was grabbing the suitcases from the car. The hotel refused to refund me. My kids 1 week later are still traumatized from this short 5 min stay. We left immediately. My understanding is the city gives homeless vouchers to stay here to clear the streets. STAY FAR AWAY .. BEWARE ...

My stay was decent. Current Reviews for this hotel are at an 8 but this hotel is more like a 6. The sheets and towels appeared clean but each had stains. Found a long hair in the bathroom. It’s decent budget hotel but it’s not for everyone.

Was given a hard time when i was checking in, didn’t like that service, it felt unprofessional, they made me feel like i didn’t belong there and inwas lying about having a reservation, even though i had given my id, & the breakfast was a joke, the guy that was cooking the breakfast also had attitude and was not friendly at all, because of these two issues, i wouldn’t stay here again

I stay in a hotel at least once a month and I would say this visit was probably one of the most disappointing that I have had in recent years. Check in associate was not very personable, and very hard to hear. He asked me to show them a copy of my email registration and my travel itinerary number from my reservation. All fine, but generally not anything im asked to provide at check in, after I've already provided my ID. My friends and I live an hour apart from each other and this trip was planned for us to get together in person. We selected this hotel in particular because it had a hot tub and in close proximity to our dinner and comedy club reservations at 630pm. We planned to enjoy the hot tub for 2 hours before dinner. Upon arrival we were told the pool area was closed because it had rained in the morning and the wet ground was a slipping hazard. It was not actively raining at the time. When my friends checked in and also expressed concern about the pool are being closed, they were told very rudely that their 2 options were to check out and leave or to go back to their room. Who ever decided to put tile in the pool area is in the wrong business. Is the ground not wet when people are swimming? Never mind the same tile surrounds the entire property making the entire 1st floor a slipping hazard. While the rooms are recently updated, I wouldn't return due to the confusing pool usage policy and the rudeness of the staff. 3 local hotels had their hot tubs open.

We picked this hotels' location so that we could be very close to family that we were visiting in Huntington Beach. When we first checked in, we were given a room that was in a dark hallway and the window looked out to the only elevator on the property. When I told them this was NOT acceptable and that I didn't want a room that looked into a dark hallway, they did their best to find another room - even tho the hotel was maybe 1/4 full! After 10 minutes, with sighs and deep breaths searching, I got a room on the 2nd floor looking outside - this was after I turned down another room. There wasn't a place to put your bags or suitcases other than on he floor. There was no coffee table in front of the sofa so take-out food and/or drinks had to go on the floor also. I was told they had a nice breakfast but never wanted to try it.The only reason we stayed here was the 4.8 rating, which I now question. I could tell they were in the process of some renovations but our room was not acceptable.

Our room was newly renovated and really well done. Clean. Good value for the price. The mattresses were a little soft for my preference but very comfy. The only thing I would change is the fan in the bathroom goes on with the light - a big no for me. And its on a motion sensor which is needless and silly. it just gets in the way. Further, a neighbor's bathroom fan went on at about 5 AM on 1/1/2024 and I waited for it to stop -worrying if I would not get back to sleep. It finally did, and so did I. But there are nice touches - the bathroom had one of those real and very effective double shower curtains, plus a vertical extender for the shower head to accommodate tall people, another peeve of mine. Overall a good stay and we will go back when headed to HB.

The room was not clean well. There was hair in the tub. Towels had visible dirt. The elevator did not work. No vending machines. Staff was rude. They kept changing the time on late check out. They rushed us out. This was my 2nd time here. The 1st was way better. This time was disappointing.

Hotel was easy to access and plenty of room to park. The room was modern and spacious. The bed was a queen and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern accomodating two people at a time (which is rare to find most hotels I have found barely accomodates one person. We enjoyed our stay!!!

My expectations were met. At $120ish/nt I expected a worn out mattress, noisy appliances, dirty floors and windows that don't lock. For more money I have stayed in rooms that easily qualify as hideous enough to make me wonder if silhouettes of prior patrons were drawn around the stains in the carpet (Lemon Inn, Pomona 10 at 57). What I didn’t expect was a shower that dispensed slightly warm water followed by random bursts of icey fresh water. Please note that this facility advertised a business center and coin-op laundry machines. None of these are present and they said it didn't matter. Prior to removing said amenities they were only available before 9:00pm. I arrived at 9:15....

Easy stay in the Huntington Beach area. Very friendly and clean. They made it so easy for us. Quick Uber ride down to the beach and shopping and restaurants. Surprisingly, safe for being on Beach Boulevard. Can’t beat the price. I would definitely say there again.

There were ANTS in our room! My granddaughters awakened to big ants crawling on their faces!!! There was a mixup with our reservation when we arrived so we had to wait quite a while as Hotels.com had to call the hotel & straighten it out.

Need better shower heads. The hot water system in the shower went from nice and hot to "ICE COLD" abruptly without notice....and stayed cold for several minutes. In addition to the exhaust fan in the bathroom, it could use just a light without the exhaust fan...which sounds like a jet engine :-)

Shocked this is a Best Western. Shabby motel at best. Staff friendly and helpful - but arrived only to find out that elevators out of service and lots of construction at property. Construction workers everywhere and despite attempts to upgrade/renovate rooms - still very tired and musty smell in rooms. Should have offered a reduction in room rate given the construction inconveniences. Whole areas re-cemented and closed off. Not my cup of tea when hauling heavy luggage up stairways. Will not return.
