The towels in the bathroom were stained, bottom of the shower was black, dog paw prints and bright orange nail polish on bedding and the floor was filthy. The bottoms of my feet were dirty after my shower from walking from the shower to the bed.

Friendly staff. This was a one night stop on a longer trip. We were just looking for a place to sleep and shower. This was very convenient to I-95. Breakfast was limited - waffles and cereal - but good. Not luxurious, but it had what we needed.

OK place to stay for the night while travelling. We stayed in no smoking room but the room smelled like smoke. Free Breakfast ends at 9am. I wouldn't stay here for more then 1 night.

Perfect place to pop in overnight. Was pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable this hotel was for the price. You can tell the owners/management take pride in this location. Highly recommend for any traveler on a tight budget or not.

Definately a roach hotel, when entered room there were roaches on dresser, in drawers, bathroom sink, under sink in bathroom, The room smelled like smoke and the shower floor was very soft. Would not recommend anyone to stay here. Had to put all clothes and everything in vehicle during night as room was full of roaches.

Room was supposed to be non-smoking, but there were clear traces of nicotine noticeable. There were a lot of small insects and some cockroaches, unfortunately.

Hotel had been recently updated but still needed some improvements. The room was spacious, the desk clerk gave us the largest accessible room they have, and it was nice. The pillows were some of the best we have had. The waffle was good at breakfast, but the rest of the choices were sparce.

The property is great when passing theu for a quick overnight stay. It is convenient to many restaurants and shopping and a short ride to St Mary's and Yulee FL.

Great room for a great price! Provided everything I needed, even free breakfast. Everything is minimalistic and sort of compact, which I liked. 2 full beds with thick comforts. Blackout curtains. Personal AC. The only thing to be desired was that the pillows didn't seem very fluffy. But I brought my own pillows anyway (being picky with my germaphobia)! The property was fine, but there is a lot of roadwork in the area currently. It wasn't loud and didn't disturb me, but it doesn't make for a very scenic stay. Stayed just one night while I was traveling to go to a wedding and I liked it. 👍 Would recommend.

My husband and I visited this location because we was visiting family on the Navy base. The room 124 was fantastic with the huge hot tub. Every time we come to Cumberland we will reserve this room. The only complaint was all the spiders outside the doors and walk ways. The pool was great refreshing to dive in after an 8 hour trip.

While the staff was very nice, and the room was basically clean, overall it was dingy. The towels, while "cleaned", had black marks all over them. The water in the shower was one temp - hot! Price was fairly low for the room, but we would not stay here again.

I like that it was clean and I would say 2nd behind Holiday Inn Express, that's where we usually stay but my Family stays here every year for past 8 years. what I did not like was that we got there with 15 minutes to check in [online said to ask if you could check in 15 minutes early] so Kathy was at the window and I told her our reservation was at 3o'clock and before I could ask if we could check in early she yelled come back at 3 o/clock and I asked is it ppossible we could check in and again before I could finish my question ..she yelled ..NOT READY YET COME BACK AT 3 O'CLOCK, and I wanted to go somewhere else, but my Family was already there and a housekeeper was standing there shaking her head. We came back at 3 o'clock and Daniel greeted us with a smile and his supervisor who was training him was oh so nice. Kathy needs to be re-trained on customer service and empathy. She could've said due to our rules you have to check in at the appropriate time that your reservation says..our blanket had cigarette burns on it and our remote control was taped with Band-Aids, but other than that I put Econo Lodge on my list to stay and it is in our book #2 behind Holiday Inn Express

Walls are thin - TV in an adjoining room was on until the early morning hours. Traffic noise loud, particularly due to sirens on emergency vehicles stationed near hotel.

I was quite pleased with my stay there. It was the nicest EconoLodge I have ever stayed in. The room was nicely upgraded and comfy King bed! The only small complaint I have is the bathroom sink light was like a 60 watt, needs to be a100 watt. I would stay here again.

There was only one room left, and someone had smoked pot in it. The staff worked an arrangement to find me a better room at another of their hotels. Excellent customer service!

The room smelled BAD, the toilet was not properly seated and the bathroom smelled like urine. The blankets were stained, the hasp lock on the door was broken, there were cheap plastic chairs in the room, and it was very noisy.

First we were sent to a room that had not even been made up yet at about 9:00 p.m. in the evening. The room that we were changed to had heavily stained towels and bed sheets. We were able to exchange some of the towels. The floors were very dirty and the bathtub was heavily stained. There was a lot of noise from other rooms and outside so we were not able to sleep very well. On a positive note, when we reiterated our experience to the front desk the next day they did refund us our night stay.

Hotel had bed bugs, found in plain sight in room. Took an example to the front desk, was told they would refund my night, but haven't seen any evidence we will receive that money. We stayed somewhere else; worth the $82 (with tax) loss to not spend thousands on extermination in my own home.
