Our air conditioning wasn’t working well but they fixed it very promptly once we advised them.
We did find it hard sleeping because the air conditioning would not run during the night and we were experiencing a heat wave in Madrid. We didn’t have a sheet so we could toss off the cover and still be covered. (Apparently, we need to be covered even when we are warm.)

Great stay, as I was IHG member lovely lady at reception upgraded our room to superior room. Staff very friendly. Hotel is within walking distance to metro to get around Madrid.

The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from El Retiro Park. Everything was clean, comfortable, and modern. The staff were super friendly, and I loved the bar’s tapas and tinto de verano. As a lovely touch, they even had a welcome gift for me on the first day!
