Baymont Detroit was a solid choice for a four-night stay during Movement Festival. Its convenient location, free parking, and complimentary shuttle service made getting to and from the festival easy and stress-free. A special thanks to shuttle drivers Rich and Ken for their excellent communication, professionalism, and outstanding customer service. Check-in and check-out were quick, and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The hotel is budget-friendly, but it could benefit from better maintenance and updates. Some areas felt worn, and there were a few cleanliness concerns. Festival weekend pricing was also significantly higher than normal.
Overall, despite some maintenance, cleanliness, and pricing drawbacks, the location, shuttle service, and excellent staff made this a worthwhile stay for Movement Festival attendees looking for an affordable place to stay.
