We were awakened by people quarreling loudly outside the rooms. The lobby is locked at night and check in is through a security window. In the room, the coverplate on the electrical outlet had broken and fallen off. Though there were no active ceiling leaks there was evidence of past leaks.

Honestly it was fine. Understanding it’s not a luxury hotel puts things into perspective. Staff was nice. My room was clean and had no weird smells. I was comfortable and the room did it’s purpose.

The property’s location was great. Hotel was a little seedy… Half an hour before check out time staff knocked on my door and yelled through the door - are you checking out? I opened door and stated I would be checking out at 11am. Staff were courteous at this point. Just very odd behavior.

It was exceptionally clean and so quiet. It was close to Decatur downtown and the neighborhood that we were visiting. I’ve stayed at places where kid run up and down the hall and have noisy guests. No pool here so no kids. Will stay here again. If you want more amenities, stay somewhere else.

Hotel gave me early access to room (for an additional charge). I was there for multiple days, and did not want daily clean/towels. However, the day I specifically asked them to clean the room, it didn't happen. Easy walk to subway (MARTA), and bus lines, so I could manage without a car.

I was initially concerned about this place due to negative reviews. However, the staff was very nice, the room was fairly clean and well-maintained. The breakfast they offered was also OK for me. There were cereals, milk, yogurt, coffee, and small muffins. I would consider coming back here again!

It wasn’t as awful as the previous reviews stated. However, the tv remote didn’t work which was a pain and the air continued to cut off even though it was not the temperature we set it on. But all around, not terrible. The beds were actually comfortable and the location was convenient as we traveled back and forth to the hospital which was right down the street.

The first room I was in had bugs crawling on the bed. They wouldn’t give me a refund (no surprise), but they did give me another room. I didn’t see bugs in the new room, but the mirror was dirty and the sink had hairs in it. (Hopefully human.) Gross.

The hotel has been remolded so the room was very nice and spacious. The location near downtown Decatur was perfect for my stay. The area is very walkable. The one complaint was the breakfast or lack thereof. It was pitiful. Coffee not made, no fruit, a few packaged muffins, two small yogurts and some assorted cereal. I had to go elsewhere.

The room itself was mostly clean. The clerk at check in was polite. The grounds of the hotel are dated and a little dirty. The breakfast area and food were a waste of time. Our table was missing one of the feet on the leg and almost came crashing down on me when I sat down at it. The breakfast foods available were very meager and we did not eat breakfast at the hotel after the first day.

The building, elevators were dirty - not clean - the elevator smelled like old vomit - the door swipe panel was broken - the little square room for breakfast ensured I did not take any breakfast there. The location was close enough to many good eateries. There were old moth eaten blankets on the bed and soiled bed toppers - spread. I had another booking for another Super * elsewhere which I will cancel - there is no quality standard....not even the basic...tv remote didn't work. This was not worth the price. Clean linen and towels yes - and the room smelt smoke free. VERY VERY VERY MISLEADING PICS on website

Good shower, at least in "Accessible" room. Not too expensive. Card key is difficult to use: keep it on the sensor for a while and it may let you in. Free breakfast is not as generous as others.

The staff is rude. The hotel sits in the middle of a cemetery. The rooms need upgrading. Not good lighting in the suite i rented.

The guy (/owner?) at the front desk was pleasant and attentive/helpful when called upon. The room itself served our purpose (we were there for a convention for four days). There was a stain on the top bed spread, but the front desk guy was able to give me another bed cover. There were water stains on the ceiling of the room that we stayed in, but I guess like they say, "You get what you pay for"; out of all the hotels we initially looked at online, Super 8 was pretty much the cheapest place we found. (...Once again, for what we were there for, the convention, it was just what we needed.) There was a nice park less than a mile away from the hotel, and it seemed like the Super 8 was right in the middle of an older, well-developed community. Once you got out of the immediate area of where the hotel was (which seemed to be a little business area), the surrounding community was really nice; from the main four-way stop close to the hotel, you could see the Emory Nursing building a block away. Once again, the surrounding area was really nice.

I seldomly reply to surveys, but I wanted to share my experiences. What they discride as breakfast was not close to what I've ever eaten at any motel, it was a joke. Elevator shut of prior 11pm w/o notice. It was clean i can say, that's why I rated Ok!

The toilet wasn’t attached to the floor. The shower curtain rod wasn’t attached to the wall. The grab bar wasn’t attached to the shower. The sheets were not replaced with fresh ones.

It's a great place to crash after a night on the town, nothing more. Likes: Room was older but clean, Fridge, microwave, clean and cozy bed, working TV, no bums lurking about, great location to Uber anywhere in Atlanta, nice bathroom. Dislikes: Lights were burnt out, outlet missing receptacle cover in room, A/C sounded like a freight train, noisy in general - bring earplugs. Pictures weren't really representative of the place.
