The first night at 4:00 am the fire alarm sounded. And kept doing so every 45 minutes and then turn off. Very very unsettling. Not one person said anything about compensation before I had paid through the app. But the property is very nice.

I was so excited to find this hotel featuring a basketball court so that my son could shoot hoops. What they DO NOT tell you (until you arrive with a very excited 10 year old) is that you have to be 18 to go into the basketball court area (both inside and outside) To be honest, and I know this sounds so petty and dumb, this ruined the stay for us. My son was SO excited to be able to shoot hoops, but there was no wiggle room on this (even with me present). I think you should post that there is an age requirement if you are going to advertise that you offer such a thing.

hotel was very good, did meet expectations! Only issue: noises coming from several other rooms until 1am (like party), despite a call to the desk. Okay, it was Saturday, but it exceeded any hotel policy. Nice place, unfortunate circumstances (I hope)

We arrived on Friday night after landing in Miami. Had a great dinner at the sports bar on site. Wonderful staff during check in. When we checked out very early, they were also helpful in sharing the location of a local bakery and what time it opened.

Nice hotel cute area close to little shops .. only down fall was the shower no pressure at all or barely hot water .. everyone was nice and bar was good .. needed a little bit more cleaning in room other than that it was ok for our one night stay .. i would go back but i would check the water & pressure

Old school hotel in a quiet area. The security was a little missing. You didn’t need your key to access the different buildings. I suggest that they change this.

Stayed for a business trip, great place! Easy walking access to food and movie theater right on main street. 20 minute uber rides to anything you feel you wanna go do!

The Miami Lakes Hotel had clean rooms and courteous staff. My bed was comfortable, and the surrounding area has a lot of shopping and restaurants available. It fit the bill nicely during my time in South Florida.

Upon walking in the front desk didn’t have all rooms ready till after 5 and we were told 4pm the guy at the front desk was very professional but was difficult with giving directions to the rooms, we were asked if we wanted our rooms close and on the same floor.. we got the same floor but rooms were no where near each other. also the shower pressure in the room was terrible hardly water coming out the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, bed was comfortable but both were different from each other.

Many amenities, great location, comfortable, and affordable. The hotel is in Miami Lakes which is a short drive to Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, but we didn't mind the drive. We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, and affordable.

Room was fine but don’t believe it when they say they’re near a golf course as their shuttle bus wasn’t working and when we reserved a taxi it didn’t turn up which meant we had to book our own Uber to and from the course. Breakfast was awful and massively overpriced. Dinner food was fine but exorbitantly priced.

Beautiful Hotel and courtyard. Was a nice calm stay after our busy cruise. Close to airport made for a quick ride. There was some loud activity in the late evening that I was surprised continued as long as it did. My earplugs helped. Beds were amazing!

The hotel is really beautiful, located in a wonderful neighbourhood, with small restaurants and cafes. We felt really safe at night. The only problem were the beds. Though the mattresses were comfortable, to call them double beds is an overstatement. A couple of medium size and weight fits really, really tight in the bed. I had to sleep in a corner of the bed, and carefully! The bed is high and a fall at my age could be serious! It’s not for lack of space, the rooms are large. They should advertise them as large singles beds and not double beds. Or really small double beds. If my daughter was not with us on the same room, we could have slept comfortably, one on each bed but as it was, we had to squeeze ourselves and pray not to fall!!

We have stayed there multiple times and every time it has been cleaned people are really nice and it is very cozy. It is very close to restaurants and shopping and you can even get a haircut. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is not kept up as well as it was 8 months ago. To expensive for what is offered. Breakfast buffet is no better than Holiday Inn. With one exception you have to pay for it. I ask for a coke and hostess said could not be done. 😞

In the last few years, every time I stay here, I regret it more and more. The place is so old at this point. Expensive with nothing great to offer. The bed sheets feel like sand paper and they don't smell clean and the bathrooms are extremely outdated.
