Uniquely centered steps from the famous Catédral St. Nicholas... Museums, Dining, College St. Michel, historic / Medieval charm and absolutely one-of-its-kind architectural details. We started taking pix of the "Doors of Fribourg" and then "the Windows of Fribourg" as a lark.
The breakfast was a bit expensive, but delicious and expansive. Frankly, a breakfast could serve one for two meals with good proteins, fruit, and delicious pastries of all kinds.

Room was clean and had everything you’d need in a tourist class hotel and more: comfortable bed, desk and chair, separate chair and coffee table, free WiFi, and in-room coffee. Gracious front-desk staff, great location near the old town, and even a free upgrade because the hotel wasn’t full. A great value in a tourist hotel! Would stay there again!

Welcoming staff, (when asked to store something in The hotel fridge, gladly done), helpful and pleasant. Hotel room, modest but clean and well appointed considering the age of the structure. The position was excellent!
Parking, can be a little trying. All up, a very pleasant stay. Merci!
