Older hotel that needs a little TLC. All in all not a bad place to stay for a quick overnight but I wouldn't consider it for an extended stay. Definitely needs some updating.

My stay at Quality Inn & Suites On the River in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, was quite enjoyable. The cleanliness was commendable, and its easy access to Glenwood Springs, attractions, and restaurants made exploring the area a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the ample and safe parking was a convenience. While the pool and hot tub were closed for refurbishing during my visit, I look forward to returning once the renovations are complete. A solid four-star experience with anticipation for an even better stay in the future!

The property smelled like marijuana. Some of the associates smelled of marijuana. They advertised pool and hot tub. Both were closed for repair. Doors did not automatically close, door keys failed to work every day, The exit door would not reopen with room key. The hotel was under remodel and smelled of paint thinner. My friend slipped and fell on the ice outside the door because they did not salt the sidewalk. After complaining to the staff about the problems, I was told to leave and they still have not refunded my money for the days I did not stay there.

People at the desk were nice! Toilet seat wasn't stable, couch looked like it was 50 years old, really weird smell! Beds were comfortable and sheets were fine. Hotel needs some updates!

Old, tired property with construction going on in the pool area so that was closed. Smell of urine downstairs. Party in the hallway. Thin bedding. Noisy heater. World’s smallest and oldest flat screen tv. Common areas scratched and dirty. Clearly ownership is milking this hotel for the desperate skiers and Choice Hotels doesn’t care. Avoid if possible.

Horrible property - in construction. Dirty rooms and also horrible customer service. Never again staying here, don’t get fooled. Key fobs didn’t work, had to constantly go downstairs to ask for a new one. Manager was rude and simple breakfast as well. Don’t stay here, pay more for something better.

This hotel is aged and smells like cleaning products covering mustiness. We stayed at 4 different hotels and airbnb's on this family vacation and this one was by far the oldest and least comfortable. I chose it because of the continental breakfast and low nightly rate. The breakfast was sorely lacking and the fruit offerings were literally rotten. I couldn't wait to check out!

Hotel is pretty dated parking was almost impossible, stayed in a suite smelled like somebody had just cooked bacon, and could not get rid of the smell. No utensils in the room whatsoever.

When we first arrived to check in, the clerk was no were to be found. After waiting for 15-20 min. She finally showed up. We realized it was the lady we had seen outside in a car with another person.

Very disappointed in this property. Our room had bugs in the bathroom, main room and crawling on the ceiling. Hot tub jets were broken, ceramic tiles were falling off the wall in pool area, breakfast was mediocre at best.

My check in was fairly routine. I was staying for two nights. I saw a sign at check in that you needed to request housekeeping so I told the receptionist (Victoria) I wanted housekeeping for the next day and she said she would put that request in. After my return the next afternoon with bags in hand my door key wouldn’t open. I went down to the reception desk and another staff member told me the key had only been activated for one day… so again after I get my key reactivated and get down to my room, I see housekeeping didn’t come thru. It might seem petty, but a two night stay was close to 400 dollars and I felt “soured” with my stay and experience. No attention to detail frankly disgruntled.
