This was a terrific stay at the hotel. It might have been the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. It wasn't just our room that was clean. The pool area was extremely clean considering my kids swam late at night (8-10PM). There were not towels laying around and all of the furniture by the pool was clean. Then when we had breakfast the next morning, the dining area was extremely clean. The food was pretty good for a free breakfast. We could not have asked for a better stay. The only drawback is the parking garage is a block away and we had to walk over. However, that was well worth it.

It was absolutely fine. No strange odors when (I entered the room--a big plus for me.) I was only an overnight stay, so I can't comment on how things are maintained. The room had everything I needed --with the exception a full-length mirror. I tend to travel with options...so seeing my outfit options in a full-length mirror would have been helpful. It all worked out (as it usually does). I loved how the hotel is situated on the "main drag" so there were lots of options for dinning, in walking distance. (I will qualify that by saying I'm a New Yorker and walking is a mainstay)

On one side is the convention center. The other North Market. Access to some of the best quick dining in the area less than a minute walk away. The front desk worker that checked me in was fantastic. Make me some agree a long day of work followed by a long drive. Downside: There's no ATM on site! Nearest 24hr is in convention center. Bring money ahead of time if you plan on tipping.

The front desk checked in on us while we were out. I requested additional pillows they had them waiting at the front desk when we returned.
The beds were comfortable and the thermostat was responsive to changes. Easy stay.
Location is great. Walkable to Kemba Live and the arena district.

Able to get very early check in! Walkable to restaurants and the convention center is across the street. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Very clean! Will stay here again!

The only reason I wouldn’t give this all 5 stars, is the toilet paper was the worst I have ever have at any hotel. The soaps and lotions were not good either. I don’t really care for the new brand the Hamptons have gone to.

Good location, average but free breakfast, and a very friendly and professional staff. However, the bess were old and very soft/springy. We asked for the room to be cleaned with fresh towels the second day but never were accommodated. Valet parking was the only realistic option and was $35 per night. May return but will certainly consider other options.

Wonderful place for a last minute concert overnight getaway. Walking distance to short north bars and restaurants, and Nationwide arena. Valet parking and front desk staff were all very professional and courteous. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great! Awesome overnight stay! Highly recommend!

Our room and the hotel was very comfortable, clean and convenient. I want to especially point out Mr. Clifford at the front desk and how helpful and friendly he was even during a long overnight shift. Excellent stay all around and we'll be staying there for all future Columbus competitions.

Hotel staff was super kind and courteous and made sure that we were comfortable with our stay. The valet service was great and convenient and the valet employees were more than helpful and nice. This is the kind of service that keeps people coming back.

I was very upset to find out when arriving that “Parking available” means paying an additional $35 per day for parking. This was NOT mentioned on Expedia.
I paid the resort fees in advance through Expedia and the hotel tried to bill me for them again at check-in, telling me that their system showed they hadn’t been paid. I’m glad I had my confirmation email, which showed they were already paid.

Wasn’t the cleanest room I’ve stayed in. A lot of dust on counters and bathroom fixtures. Base boards were broken and the curtains had a stench to them. Overall it was alright.

Great hotel! Staff was friendly, room was clean and spacious. Within walking distance of where we wanted to go. Breakfast was good too.

Overall the stay was fine. The building needs some repairs and updates. My vehicle was parked in the valet garage and was actually broken into due to a failure in the garage door. The hotel manager gladly covered the damages, it was just a slight inconvenience. Nothing major was taken from my vehicle.

Hampton Inn is always consistent and never disappoints. The Columbus Downtown location was even better than expected from valet to guest services to the room comfort to the breakfast and location, this was top notch.
Shout out to all of the guys at valet for the stellar service and friendliness and Clifford at the front desk for keeping it real!

The staff are super helpful and kind! Clifford eased a lot of worries that I had before I traveled. Everything we came to do was within walking distance! We will definitely check this place first for our return trips! 10/10!!

Great location to the Convention Center (across the street) and lots of shopping and restaurants. You can just walk to whatever you would like.
Considering its a parking garage, I feel the parking fee should be per stay versus per night.
I had a great 2 day stay.

Staff was great, hotel was nice, but our room was really dirty, the bathroom especially clearly hadn't been mopped or wiped down, the shower was still coated in someone else's scrub, it was gross and I'm not coming back

We were in town for a concert and planned on getting ready in the room beforehand but our room was not ready for 2 1/2 hour after the check-in time. This was greatly disappointing and took away from our special night. We were not even offered compensation for the great inconvenience.

Double check your check in time with the hotel as the time on the confirmation email from Expedia and the actual hotel were different so had to sit around and wait for over an hour for room to be ready. Hotel staff did not offer to text or call when room was ready, just kept saying to check back in 30 min. Lobby was filled with people just standing around with their luggage waiting.
