Staff were friendly. Our room was not very clean, standing water in the bathtub when you tried to shower. Told the front desk, no real response. Wouldn’t recommend staying there again.

The night front desk person was rude the door barely shut and I was refused to be able to switch rooms the toliet didn't flush and we still couldn't get another room and was forced to plung it myself and it still didn't work

The carpet was sticky there was a nasty tissue in 2 drawers bathroom floor was very soft t.v. NEVER worked after many complaints to OWNER nothing was done nit even another room offered. The outside portion of our room was filthy. And all we could amell was marijuana all day and night. Was promised a discount has nit happened!! Staff felt bad but owners did not

The hotel and the room was reprehensible and neither looked anything like the photos posted online.
The windows were dirty.
The bed didn’t seem freshly made.
The bathroom ceiling was visibly molded and mildewed.
It was the absolute worst experience I’ve had in a hotel stay.

Horrible part of town. Walked in and I think there were dogs staying there than people. Halls smelled of stale wet cat food, room was dirty. Bathroom toilet on crooked, didn’t flush, tub faucet continuously running. I’m not saying it dripped I mean it was running water. Elevator and stairwells smelled of weed. We walked in our room called a different hotel and walked right out and didn’t end up staying there. Staff was surprised to hear how unsatisfied we were and that we chose not to stay.

It was disgusting, i didn’t stay for 20 minutes. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! THEY TAKE FOREVER TO REFUND YOU!!!

There was construction on the floor I was placed on, then in the room next to mine. It lasted until 730pm the day I checked. I was woken up by hammering and saws at 8am the next morning (Saturday).
The pool area smelled really bad of mold/mildew. The hot tub was empty and looked out of order. There was trash in the pool area on the floor.
I could hear almost everything! Sunday I heard the room next door turn on the shower and heard them sneeze.
The only good thing was the guy at the front desk on Friday and Saturday. He was really helpful and nice, when I mentioned the construction in the room next to mine he moved me right away.
The 2nd room had paint splatter all over the bathroom floor and entry way. The tub had rust spots and the toilet seats in both rooms were not attached well.
I could hear everything from outside as well. All the traffic, people in the parking lot, very thin walls.

Tv didn’t work. Thermostat didn’t work. Working on building at hours that were uncomfortable. Never was quite except from 4-6 am. Not sure if it was other people or if they were working on building but it was ridiculous.

The staff was nice, however, the hotel was very unclean. There were people lounging in the hallways making me feel unsafe. I checked out 25 minutes after checking in.

First of all, there is no pool. The room was not clean, don’t even get me started on the bedspread on our bed… disgusting. The breakfast was extremely basic. Cereal, oatmeal, bagels and mini muffins/donut holes. Every was stale. Building is not being kept up well at all. Trashes overflowing by the vending machines and smelled horrible. We couldn’t leave fast enough.

2/9/24 i seen this baymont/days inn hotel on the app advertising a suite for $100 a night and jumped right on it so i can take my family to Disney on Ice 2/2/24. Back home baymont is a great hotel. But in Grand Rapids it’s a totally different ball game. Smelled like cigarettes on our floor, bathroom dirty, bed sheets was dirty
Nothing was ans advertised. But I can say I didn’t yell, scream or demand my money back like most would’ve in this situation. I communicated properly with the front desk and they refunded me 1 night back & my deposit.

I came in there was some sort of disassembled pen used to smoke some substance inside a drawer, was charged for damages that were already in the property. Unhappy with the outcome

Check in process took a long time because they did not have a room available. They ended up giving us a room on their days in side which was not what we booked. Room was filthy with a clogged bathroom sink, bed sheets soiled with food crumbs and hair, sticky residue on all surfaces and carpet was filled with fresh stains of red blood like substance that weren’t even attempted to be cleaned. We ended up switching rooms for one that was smaller and not a suite like we originally had upgraded to. That room was slightly better but cleanliness was still an issue for this property

This hotel is disgusting!!! The walls are coming apart, the carpet in the hallways and rooms are gross!! The whole hotel smells like an ashtray!! This was by far the worst hotel I've ever been inside of. There is only one entrance!! Seems like a safety hazard!!

Paint peeling on all walls. Toilet seat swivel and wasn't secured very well. Took a shower the tub was full of water it don't drain. 3 dinky pillows for a king bed. No waffle maker when we went down for breakfast when there was one in the picture. That was one of reasons we chose this hotel. So false advertising. It was very confusing with having 2 hotels in the same building we didn't know if we were at the right one or not. Outlets by the bed and lamps by the bed didn't work not did the alarm clock. Stains on the curtain that looked like blood.

The whole third floor hallway to our room reaks of mildew theres clearly water damage on the cealing and the carpet in the hallway. The pool was out of commission. Our rooms bedding had brown streak stains on it and nasty brown substance splattered all over the wall as well as the grout in the shower being black and gross, it had out light bulbs and used hair products left in the bathroom. If i were able to get a refund i would of rather slept in my car for the night then be in the nasty hotel ever again.

this hotel is not as advertised, the property is in very poor condition and looks completely unsanitary. the room I had stayed in had 10 holes in the wall that were barely plastered over, the walls and furniture were covered in dust and questionable residue, and there cigarette burns in the pillow cases. Would not recommend!

TV, remote, clock, and phone did not work. TV acted like it was on but nothing was happening. The bedding had stains and overall the facilities were not clean or well maintained.

Waited 20 minutes at the front desk to check in because no one was attending it. The bathroom was out of order in the lobby. Saw a cockroach in the bathroom. And the vending machine was out of water and did not take credit cards

Absolutely disgusting!!! Stains all over the carpet and food splatters on floor of hotel room, mold on the tub/ grout coming off/ rub peeling, water damage on the ceiling, smelled like weed in the hall, dog poop in the hall- food wrappers and can on window sills and bed propped up against a window... bad area too.

Nothing positive to say about this place. For the amount they charge per night, spend a little extra and book a better hotel. This place needs to be demolished. From the smell of smoke from other room(s) to the super slow internet connection (less than megabit) made for an unpleasant night. Never again!!

The whole building lacked cleaning. Dirty and disgusting are the words to describe it. Walls, hallways, carpets, bathroom, elevators, etc were all dirty. The bathtub had hair and the tiles were filthy and grimy. The neighborhood around the hotel is not good. Hotel is located about 10 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. That is the only perk.

What a mistake. I should get my money back for staying at this dump. The outside foyer smelled like urine and that should have been enough to cancel. The argument at the front desk between the clerk and another customer kept me from checking in for a good thirty minutes. The bathroom sink handle fell off in my hand, so I had no water accept for the bathtub. The TV remote didn't work either. The room was clean but clearly someone stopped caring about this dump years ago. Again, I should get a refund.

The room was gross, stains on the carpet and curtains. Toilet seat wasnt even attatched. Pool was freezing cokd, hot tub was empty and disgusting. Bothrooms in the pool area were not working yet filled with old feces and smelled. The entire hotel smelled like fish and death. After dark we felt unsafe coming and going with kids, there was a lot of arguing going on between other guests and a lot of sketchy people walking around.

The hotel was in the same building as Days Inn. Not sure if they have merged their company or what. The Front desk lady wasn’t welcoming at all. Room was okay, but outdated. We didn’t eat our breakfast the next morning so can’t say much about it.
