Did 2 separate nights, 2 stays and it was a really good experience. The atmosphere was laid back and very welcoming. I really liked the size of the rooms and comfort of the king size beds.

Ice machine needs to be cleaned. the carpet needs to be cleaned. the plugs in the room did not work .

Great view from 16th floor of river and bridges. Good beds. Only a few things were not good: Bathtub stopper did not work so I could not take a bath. But just shower is okay for a few days. Also, no way to make tea or coffee in room, but lobby had an electric kettle. Finally, I paid for the room in full when leaving. Today, three days later, a new pending charge for the full amount showed up. Not very professional.

Pros: good location. Walkable to most attractions, restaurants and bars. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Nice bathroom (with tub and over bath shower) , toiletries supplied. Fridge in room. Rooftop bar with great views Cons: no in room coffee (only available downstairs in lobby). Breakfast mediocre - not worth the extra cost. Service sluggish Rooftop bar was very noisy on Sunday. Advertised happy hour, but charged full price for drinks!

Room we ordered was sold out when we arrived but they upgraded us no charge. No in-room coffee but 24 hour free coffee/tea in lobby. Frig but no microwave in room, but 24 hour guest use microwave in breakfast area. Easy off/on to I-40, 10 minute walk to Beale St. 2 trolley line stops 1/2 block away. Secured public parking garage across the street for extra charge. Our room had great views of the mighty Mississippi. Desk clerks very friendly and helpful.

Hu hotel was perfect for us in so many ways. Clean,comfortable and a grest location. We walked to almost anywhere we wanted to go. Only caveat is be sure you understand the parking policy. It was very convenient and safe but because i didnt fully understand i ended paying twice for parking.

Horrible staff!!! Was charged twice for incidentals and staff was rude and unprofessional when I called to resolve. Requested room service and there was none. The hotel itself is fine but the hotel staff was very unpleasant and frankly do not have customer service skills in the slightest.

This hotel could use a remodel. Service was not very friendly and put me in a room that was already occupied. Walked in on a couple sleeping when I checked in late. No water bottles or convenient items available on site.

This was a horrible experience. Came in town for a funeral and I checked into The Hu Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee on 2/16/2024 and 10 minutes later after seeing the room and the hotel common areas. I checked out. I literally did not stay one night in that place. This hotel needs a renovation. The carpet was dirty, the towels in the room looked old, furniture is worn, and the walls need to be painted. The bathtub needed to be replaced and grout was old. . I had booked for two nights , and this was a terrible mistake. The pics are misleading. The property does not look the way the photos portray it. I want a refund because I had to find another hotel for the next two nights.

We stayed one night and I must say that we have never felt so unwelcome in a hotel before. The staff seemed annoyed if we asked any basic question - such as, “why is there no towels in our room” “why doesn’t the elevator work”. When we went back in the night, the lady at the counter had a private conversation on her phone and disregarded our presence or questions but yelled some minute after, very aggressively, “what did you say?!” The rooms seemed half finished. Art decor is really a stretch. Roof top bar closed and lobby area not available either. This is not a cheap hotel, so I had expected more. I would really not recommend this hotel.

Due to the cold weather, pipes broke and lost heat. Aft r 6 hours hot water was available in some rooms. Obviously not the hotels fault. But, unloading car in front of hotel was nothing but ice No one had shoveled or put salt down to help slippery surface. Lobby was a mess. Ladies at front desk were very nice. Our room, was not so nice. Great bed! But the heat wouldn’t go past 69*. No glasses or ice bucket no tp no outlet in bathroom!!! No waste can dusty carpet Breakfast bar looked unappetizing especially at $15. Again broken pipe not their fault. Everything else should have been addressed

No heat. It was 52 degrees in the room this morning and no hot water so no showers. Had to go downstairs last night for extra blankets. Certainly not a good experience

Only thing we were not satisfied with is the bar being closed at night… they told Us it was going to be open and when we get up there it was closed!

Property is convenient to downtown attractions and dining. Their rooftop is small but nice, looking over the river! The biggest issue for me was that I had to park my car in a parking garage across the street. There is no valet service!

Lacked a number of standard hotel commodities, was told to park in nearby paid garage "with map and instructions" found my vehicle and nearby vehicles were all booted. Basically got told by staff "oh well". Stated pet friendly but was charged an additional maintenance fee just for bringing a dog.

Front desk service was great, room was clean and up to date. Good value for the cost. My only comments are the sheets aren’t that soft (feel like cheap thick starched sheets) and parking is across the street 4th floor and $22 (this was not made clear when I made my reservation). For these two reasons I probably won’t be back.

The reception people are not pleaseant. Additional they don’t speak other language different from English. The room was not clean y never housekeeper didn’t clean the room. It has not a litter. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel location was perfect. However suite was small, and not cleaned. Trash from a guest previous stay was still there. There was also tissue stuck to the wall. Also housekeeping never shows up. Customer service didnt seem to care either.

Once we arrived we were told there would be no room service, breakfast was not available and the rooftop bar was closed. I reserved a junior suite because amenities listed bathrobes and a bath tub. There were no bath robes available and the bath tub did not hold water. You may consider calling to see if amenities listed are still available.

$75 deposit a night, and $22 parking a day, $15 breakfast. Cool decor and nice rooms. They do have a roof top and sams restaurant right around the corner is so good! Also recommend flights restaurant nearby.

This was a birthday stay for me! From checking in with Ann, Hu Rooftop bar overlooking the river with Tie, and check out with Adrienne. Completely Superb!! Footstep away from Flight Wine Bar and Starbucks. The Hu Hotel has everything from aesthetics to wonderful warm staff. I stayed in the King Suite !! Love Love Love!! The King suite had the dual tub and shower. Fabulous mirror with it own separate lighting for my makeup girlies like me. Gorg and spacious sitting area. Floor 15 was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. King size bed, clean linens, and a wonderful Bluetooth speaker/clock to play classical music on to start your morning. So no need to bring yours. Adorable, aesthetically pleasing, and clean wet bar if you bring your own spirits. I will certainly stay again for another staycation! I love Hu Hotel. For parking, choose the parking garage adjacently across from Hu Hotel. I hope you make the right choice and stay there too. Best Hotel in downtown Memphis hands down!!
