Even though I booked two queen beds with a balcony, the king bed room was nice, bed was comfortable and had easy acess to the beach. I was satisfied.

Second time I have stayed here in last month or so. It’s always something. This place the first time way overcharged me for my room but I was in a crisis as my house had a serious condition to where I had to immediately leave and couldn’t get to my house rental u til the next day. This time, the rate was 1/10 of the last time but still annoying. The rate was x then they tried to charge me all sorts of fees so in other words they published a low rate and then tried to screw me by charging me for breathing. On the positive side, the hotel is right across from the beach with a “private” beach, super nice, the pool is nice and it’s actually in a good spot. The shower is ridiculous. I pulled off the handle both times I stayed there bc it’s the stupidest non intuitive shower mixing valve ever. Also first time, they told me to go up on the left bc they were doing renovations (this seems to be a trend) and did not tell me they had painted the railings so I got blue paint on me 3 times before I realized this. I looked like I belonged in blue man group. Go that way because we’ve demolished this way and don’t worry about the fresh paint on the handrail.

This was easily the best hotel that I've ever stayed in. A representative from the hotel texted me to coordinate romantic options. They ensured things were ready by the time my wife and I showed up. They were very accommodating and in a fantastic location. The perfect romantic getaway!

We stayed at Ocean Sands for 3 nights. Its an older property that is very well maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our housekeeper Dawn did a great job.
The Inn is located on a busy road and the traffic noise was significant in our ocean view room. The rooms on the other side were probably much more quiet. That being said, the view and sound of the ocean was beautiful.
Beach access is right across the street. It is a nice beach, good for long walks and not crowded.

Everything was perfect! I especially loved all the little “touches” they had in rooms and lobby..Everything from the cookies to checking out with a car air freshener! They leave nothing out! I’d definitely stay there again…

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location and very comfortable beds. Well stocked bathroom which was clean and large. All staff were friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back here.

We checked in really late early morning of 25 February and were welcomed by the friendliest staff members. The hotel was conveniently located across the street from an amazing beach. We were offered late check out with a reasonable fee. All of the staff members we came in contact with, Silese, DJ and Sharon went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable and make our stay enjoyable. We look forward to returning one day soon.

Terrible experience. Our sheets were dirty (I took pictures of them), the carpet was stinky and disgusting. To make it even worse, people
were yelling at midnight in front of the reception desk and we could hear everything from our room. The receptionist said he could change us room for $75,00 USD MORE! What? He didn’t care at all the people yelling at that time at all. The place is extremely expensive. Don’t waste your money here, go to a better place.

What i didn’t appreciate was learning that because I booked through Expedia I wouldn’t get free parking! Very frustrating, especially bc the only way I could book online was through Expedia. Should I fault Expedia? The hotel management? Don’t know, but it will change my hotel booking in the future! That was a very expensive fee!!! Re-read my last 2 sentences please!!! Very poor communication, very poor business practice!

Very welcoming front desk at 5pm you can get fresh hot cookies and popcorn. The added breakfast was very good bacon, eggs bisquuts and gravy. Can dine in the privacy of your room. Quick drive away can see the sites in old st Augustine. An enjoyable stay

Loved this place! Although the beach side was great with an ocean view, we also stayed on the garden side and actually enjoyed that more. Sun in the afternoon, a more of a sense of community.

The hotel is not what I expected from the pictures and reviews. There was nothing walkable around the area. Breakfast was awful, but the staff were nice. They made it seem like this was a good place to stay. Too expensive for this hotel

The property was nothing like the pictures. Given that It’s rating was excellent, I was expecting so much more. There was a parking fee that wasn’t even mentioned in the advertising, and the place is in the middle of nowhere with nothing else around. Why there is a parking fee on the property of this hotel. I’m not sure. Supposedly it would be refunded had I given a good review . The room was stinky like a wet basement and it looked as though it had been flooded in the last year or so. There was no hot water to speak of. It was lukewarm at best, and the water pressure was terrible. The only redeeming quality was that the breakfast was reasonably decent.. I paid $800 for two nights to stay at this place, and would never stay there again! We had a room facing the ocean, but the road was so high in front of us that all we could see looking out of our sliding glass door was grass. One would have to be on the second floor to get any kind of view to the ocean.

Checked in on the 22nd Dec for a night, but I reserved two ocean view rooms for us and our visitors. First of all, we came to see the Festival of Lights @downtown St Augustine but we also wanted to experience the beach. Rooms are very clean, soundproofed right that I hardly heard the waves nor the cars passing by. I enjoyed watching the sunrise from the balcony before heading down for breakfast. The staff did a great job, they offered a complete continental breakfast with do it yourself waffles and strawberries etc, coffees and even cappuccino machine. The front desk staff is super! Mandy is very friendly and she made sure our needs were met! She made the biggest impact making sure we are welcome and all taken care of.

This is the place to stay if you want a real feel for the warmth & charm of St.Augustine & its people instead of a cold impersonal hotel. The staff provided wonderful support in every need of our visit. Their breakfast & coffee are excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. We stayed 1night for the Christmas Nights of Lights and I can safely say that we will be back. The plus side, the beach is a five walk from the hotel. At Checkout, Selim was so gracious and lovely. We will be back in the summer for sure.

The property was small and cute, there were not very many people there which I liked. Breakfast was very nice and the view from our room was beautiful. The room itself was not great. The sheets on the bed were not washed considering the gross amount of dirt/crumbs and stains on it. The carpet was also quite dirty and most likely had not been vacuumed. Other than cleanliness this was a fine hotel/inn.

This hotel is quiet and peaceful. Rooms are very nice and clean. Our housekeeper Val had the room very nice the check in agent Mandy was very nice and helpful and the checkout agent Sills’s was very quick and sweet. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was fine, but I’m short and the beds were very high. It took me a little while to get into bed. The chairs at the table were uncomfortable after sitting in them or a while. Cushions would help. We checked out early because on Night Of Lights tour on the water was canceled.

Location was nice. Our room was not fully painted, there was a bad odor coming from the bathroom, it looked like badly done plumbing, bathroom doors didnt close well. The only armchair had broken leg.
We could not belive that it was offered at almost $500 with parking fees for 2 nights...
