Rockview Hotel Castle Rock Downtown

The hotel was good for our one night stay before we went hiking. Staff was friendly.

The night staff when I checked in was very nice and helpful. I stayed with a dog and it was nice to have a dog friendly environment.

The location of the hotel was very convenient for our business. The staff was very helpful and considerate. However, the room didn't have a coffee maker, a bathroom door that wouldn't stay closed and a shower that was a drizzle. It took 30 minutes to get wet and getting the shampoo out of my hair was impossible. The second day we were there our room was not cleaned, and we didn't see maid service at all. I inquired of the nice young man at the desk and he informed me that there was a magnet to put on the door for maid service. I told him I saw a "privacy" tag and he told me "maid service" was on the back. The third day there, we had no toilet tissue, so I had to ask at the desk and it was promptly provided. That morning there were no forks and knives. The same young said he'd let the boss know. The people were nice. The facility need repairs.
