I was up there to take a painting class at the Southampton
Arts Centre and forgot my key in class the second night. Staff was great.

Our stay was great we really enjoyed the jetted tub in our room. The outdoor pool was great and the breakfast was pretty good for a motel. We would definitely stay again as the location is great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are a few things that could be addressed if we were being picky. The smell when we first entered the room was an old stale smell. It wasn’t horrible it was noticeable. The bar to lock the sliding patio door was broken. We temporarily fixed it by putting the screws back in so we could lock the door. The outdoor pool was fantastic but you can tell that’s it’s aging the indoor pool area was entirely different. The water was cloudy and not as clear as you would expect from a public pool. The hot tub was so hot you couldn’t get in it and the sauna didn’t heat up at all. These are only minor things that didn’t really impact our stay. Just things they could look into for the future. Overall for a motel it was fantastic.
