Overall the stay was a 9. The room I give a 9, front desk service was a 8, the breakfast was 9.5. I will stay here again.

out-dated hotel and bathroom design doesn't really make sense. however, it's clean!
front desk clerk could be more friendly and it took a while to process when tho they found our name not sure why

Very outdated and overpriced for the condition of the room. Linens and towels looked warn, white-greyish and chip. Furniture is old with signs of wear and water damage. Bathroom had very short vanity and toilet even for 5’3” person. The room had everything that is necessary and looked clean, but I would not stay more than 1 night.

The beds were not double as advertised. There was no food for the Continental breakfast. The sheets and towels were stained and dirty. The rooms smelled. The other guests were rowdy. Just an all around horrible stay.

The hotel was at first site like Bates motel, but not that bad after all we just needed a clean bed and shower. It is definitely an old establishment that needs repairs.

Well first when arriving there are signs everywhere.. No parties are there are consequences, dont loose your room key or there is a fee, and others. I was allready wanted to turn back by the level of agression in signs. Not welcoming at all. The guy who checked us in was not either. The room while large has random mystery lumps in the carpet and laminate. The bathroom was serisously outdated, fridge only stays at 45° so our milk is questionable. Breakfast was worthless. They were out of eveything- not exaggerating. There was some eggs and some toast. Thats it. We waited for 30 mins after notifiing them eveything was out. They replaced the bacon. By the time we gave up they replaced the milk. While the room was quite large and slept 6 we got 3 towels and 3 wash clothes. 2 of the washclothes had large yellow stains. The price was reasonable $119 ( hotles.com deal) but I wouldn't pay a penny more. The lady at check out was kind and welcoming.

I was given a room close to an entrance that was very convenient for taking my dog out for potty breaks. Very nice as always. Breakfast was not as good as I remembered from staying there before.

Reserved a 2 queen bed suite with a convertible sofa for family of three. When we arrived and the hotel clerk found out one of my adult children didn’t come she verified that I needed two queen beds. I told her that I wanted the exact room I booked. Instead she switched us to a one queen bed with sofa bed. I had to go back to the front desk to demand I get the room I booked. In the end they gave me the correct room, but it caused us to be late for dinner with my extended family.

Use stay at this hotel all time, new owners not friendly so many new rules. Rooms 1/2 stuff broke, toilet didn’t flush

The room itself and its amenities were very good.
It was the rest of the stay that was disappointing.
The hallways are dilapidated. Large and old holes in the carpeting.
Checkin was disappointing and painful. No one was at the front at 9 pm. A sign said clerk would return in 15 min. It wasnt that long but uncomfortable waiting when you are tired from a drive and other activities.
Although i had printed my reservation the clerk ignored any onformation on it and i had to go through a torturous checkin -- dramatic, but i was tired. Then the eke tronic credit card scanner rejected my card twice and the clerk had to slo-o-wly enter ut by hand.
Breakfast a miserable experience. The milk dispenser was working. Gallon jugs of white and chocolate milk were swimming in a washpan filled with ice.
The juice dispenser wasnt working. Warm juice in a carafe was set on the counter.
The coffee machine wasn't working. The attendant pointed out instant coffee was availble -- he rattled a coffee carafe with instant coffee flakes to make one's own.
If one doesnt return the room key card it is charged to your account -- but thexsugn didnt say how much.
Ut us u likely this will be first option the next time i stay in the area.

So many things on property were out of order, such as water fountain, ice machine, juice dispenser at breakfast. The fridge in the room was not working. Drainage was very slow in the shower.

I've stayed at many Champaign-Urbana hotels when attending Illinois Football home games. Had never stayed at Eastland Suites Hotel before and was pleasantly surprised. Both the grounds and the hotel facilities were clean and well maintained. The hotel serves a good hot breakfast too. I will definitely return on future trips.

Argument right outside our room all night long. Ended with cops showing up in morning. Paint peeling off wall in bathroom. Couch was broke down and old. Over all was clean. Not comfortable.

This property is quite beautiful and large. Be prepared to use a different entry door than the lobby to access your room. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. However, the furniture in my room could be easily beautified with a coat of varnish.

I had 4 problems which were all fairly minor. 1. I could not find anywhere if breakfast was included,when i went down to breakfast the juice machine was broken. 2. There was no signage pointing to where anything is. 3. Our in room safe ,that we had not touched, made a screeching alarm sound for about 30 sec at 6:30 in the morning 4. When i came in to check in when it was time the clerk was not the friendliest person. The woman who was manning the desk the 1st time i came in when it was too early to check in was fine though.

The room I booked was not available and they gave me keys to a room someone else was in. They finally gave me a different, much smaller room than I paid for and refused to discount and anything.

On arrival, the outside looks like a dump. It looks like an old nursing home or apartment complex turned into a hotel. At check in, the hotel had gave my room away even after it was paid for through Expedia. The male at the front desk tried blamming it on Expedia, but it evident it was their fault. Had it been any longer for 1 night, we would of went elsewhere. The room had cracked tile, smelled and poorly taken care of. There were dirtch socks laying in the halls, there are long term tenants and pets allowed. The breakfast which was "raved" on is disghusting at best. The employees bringing food out, had no gloves, poorly dressed and not very professional. The juice machine was broke, there were 2 gallons of milk in an ice bucket and the "buffet" consisted of nasty scrambled eggs, cold tater tots and rock hard sausage patties. If this place would be properly inspected, my guess is it would be closed. Stay elsewhere and Expedia should cut ties immediately

We checked in Friday PM. Left for the day Saturday expecting housecleaning. Didn’t happen. Very low on toilet paper. We had to ask for someone to deliver two rolls at 11 PM. Ridiculous !

This is a convenient stay, not in the middle
of the university crowd but close enough if you’re there for campus activities. Our room was clean (cleanest hotel bathroom I’ve encountered in some time!) and spacious. Room rates were reasonable, even with a home football game. They also have a football game day shuttle to and from their property which is great if you want to skip the hassles and expense if parking on campus. Will stay here again when we’re back for U of I activities!

Front desk did not have a reservation although it was done at 852 am. They took 30 min to check me in.would not let me see a receipt although I had one on my phone. Said I had 2 credit cards on file which I do not. It was very strange at the front desk don’t know what they were up to

Overall good stay. The hotel is nice enough, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I don't think it was the absolute cleanest or most comfortable but did the job for sure.
