Fantastic value for an extended stay

Very spacious room with full kitchen. Lots of parking. Early, 6am, breakfast on Sunday with hot food.

Bed was uncomfortable. Area around tub and toilet was cramped.

Never again!

I booked a loft suite because I was traveling with my teenage son and his friends for a basketball game at U of I. I booked the loft because there were 5 kids and one adult. this way all the kids were with me supervised. I called the hotel at 3:30 to tell them we would be late checking in and they said that was fine, but did not take my name. they were very short on the phone. We arrived at 6:30 to check in after the basketball game and I was told that my loft room was NOT available because they allowed people to extend their stay! They offered me 2 queen rooms but we were counting on the kitchen and I wanted one room to be with the kids. They then put us in 2 king suites but my 15 year olds were unsupervised all night! we could not all possibly fit in that one room! plus I had my 10 year old son with me as well. I appreciate them accommodating BUT this should not have happened because I had a room booked for my needs. plus my room I booked was way more expensive than the 2 rooms I was given. once we were in the rooms one smelled horrible!!! I told the front desk it smelled and they said they probably already have it noted that it smells! the tv did not work properly, the dishwasher was not secured and would roll out from under the cabinet when on. the bathroom was dirty. The hotel was very run down.

Clean breakfast was very good

I was there coming from Florida to help my disabled daughter. They gave us a run around about having someone pay over the phone with their card when they did it when we first checked in. Told us we had to have it figured out by 1 so we left. After being there 4 days no troubles with payments or us. This use to be my go to hotel when in Chambana.

Very good

The pool is awesome especially during cold weather. The breakfast was nice.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. I didn't shower because the tub didn't look clean.

Positives and negatives

The breakfast was decent, coffe at buffet was good.

I would’ve liked fresh towels and toilet paper as needed. I had to ask for them. I assumed the dirty linens and trash would be done daily. Also, the noise level late into the night was crazy. There were entire families running and yelling after midnight. The staff were friendly and the hotel was nice. The entrance doors were propped open at night to accommodate all the people that were up so late, making it less secure.

Nice older hotel.

Breakfast was good. Location was convenient.

Room smelled musty, tub looked dirty due the fact it was older. More towels in bathroom. We were placed near a family with pets. They were kind loud at times. Also, our tv was staticy and some stations hard to watch.

Nice comfortable 2 night stay just off I74. Top notch excellent breakfast. Nice pool and workout room. Very clean and well kept for an older establishment.

TV did not have great reception . A lot of static dots and lines on the picture. Needs attention.

Excellent breakfast and the staff had good vibes.

Acoustic insulation of the rooms could not keep out the noise of the childrens party upstairs at the middle of the night.
