The room was very clean and spacious. The bed is firm but comfortable. The room had a mini fridge with 2 bottles of complimentary water. It had a safe and 2 cabinets for your belongings. The bathroom was very clean with shampoo and body wash miniature bottles. The towels were very soft. The staff was so welcoming, the minute we stepped into the building the front desk person Linda greeted us right away! The whole staff are very friendly. This hotel does not have a lift so the staff members took our luggage up the steps and we didn’t even have to ask. This hotel offers breakfast and it was amazing! The tables are set up with plates and cups. It’s not a huge selection of food but is plenty. They make you coffee as well. There are a grocery store and pharmacy and restaurants nearby. This hotel is steps from the ocean so that was just amazing to take a stroll and see all the restaurants nearby.

Great Hotel in a gorgeous area, close to the water and some lovely places to eat.
Spanish Quarter and Via Toledo were a half hour stroll away.
The Team at Hotel Rex are cohesive, friendly, generous with their time in answering our questions, and just blooming lovely.
