Very wonderful sweet check in staff. Very helpful and curtious. Not fancy but well decorared. Very clean room. Towels and linens sparkling clean. Very clean floors and bathroom spotless. Great complimentary coffee in am. No decaf coffee. It is on our list of return to hotels

We had to ask for new sheets as soon as we checked in because they had burn holes in them . The refrigerator was very noisy and sounded like it was going to die. The water was not hot in the shower. It was noisy. We won’t stay there again.

Was okay for a quick 7-hour bed down. But did not have a microwave as advertised. Heating unit was beat up, barely operable. Right next to some shaby housing with a bunch of dogs barking all night.

One of the better Motel 6's we have stayed at. Very clean, very quiet despite being right off I-40 and a full motel. Staff was great and we had no problems with the room or the stay.

Third time we have stayed in this exact same room. Each time has just about been adequate but this last time was a problem. The bed was made nicely BUT the sheets were not clean. There were hair in the bed from the last occupants which made me feel sick. Also the was a distinct smell of pee coming from somewhere. Only noticeable when you’re trying to sleep and more aware of other scents and sounds. There was NO bathroom facilities to get showered with this time either although there was soap. But that was it. I won’t recommend this hotel and I won’t be using it again.

Since I checked in late in the evening, it was not that unusual for the check in to be at a window, quick, and less personable. The accommodations exceeded my expectations. Shower was perfect. Bed was comfortable. Loved that pets stay for free! Microwave and refrigerator made things much easier. I could’ve used a hair dryer. I imagine that was available at the front desk. I didn’t take the time to go ask. Great experience!

Service was excellent. The bed was probably the most comfortable out of all of the hotels I stayed at, surprisingly. Motel 6 pretty much sets the standard of what I expect from a motel and a hotel, and this place was no different. There was no included breakfast, but at the price I paid more than makes up for this. There's also a high level of security in the parking lot.

The hotel is in a very sketchy area. Please do not stay here with children or teens. Many people circling the parking lot, watching you and your vehicle. The staff watched people dumpster dive and forsure bad things being sold from people in these hotels. (If you know what I mean) please pick a different place to stay. We had a room right next to the front desk otherwise I would have checked out if our room was in the back. (So sketchy) the parking lots are lit up extra bright if you need to check on your vehicle tho. The only thing nice is that the rooms are super cute. We had been driving for 18 hours and just wanted to sleep otherwise I would have found another hotel. (It was THAT bad). I just think Amarillo in general is a bad area. Please, spend an extra 20-30$ and find another hotel.

We arrived late and quite sore as we are both disabled. They checked us in quickly and efficiently and gave us information that we were able to use to leave late after good rest.

It’s clean and relatively updated compared to some Motel 6’s I have seen. Great Mexican place across the street. Traveling with a dog, and there is a large park 2 blocks away.

Clean and nice. Just the pool was not working and nobody told us before. That was bad because we just booked it due to the pool.

Room140. Floors were clean. Shower walls look like they had not been cleaned in a month, soap scum was gnarly. Refrigerator was so noisy I had to unplug it to be able to sleep. TV Dishnetwork kept glitching out like it was Loading the next scene. Needed the sleep. It was cheap enough for me. EDl Charo restaurant next door was good.

This room looked nothing like what is shown on the Hotels.com website. I've stayed at a lot of Motel 6 locations, and with one exception, they've all been beautifully renovated. This location proports to be updated, but it looks more like they slapped some lipstick on a pig and called it a makeover! The room, especially the bathroom, was nasty with dirt and hair everywhere. The bath towels were threadbare, and of the only two towels provided, one had ugly black smudge marks all over it. One of the bedside lamps did not work, so only one of us could use the lamp for reading. The mattresses were very lumpy, and my daughter's mattress felt like it was slightly angled downward. We had to listen to the upstairs noisy tenant who sounded like he was dragging a dead body up and down the stairs at 10:00 p.m. The AC unit was busted up and nasty looking. There was something suspect running down the wall in the bathroom. And the tub needs a good cleaning. The only good thing about staying at this particular Motel 6 is that there is a very good Mexican restaurant across the street. Motel 6 has really up'd their game in recent years, but this location missed the boat.
