I did not stay here once I saw the room...the good reviews are for the cleanliness of surfaces in common areas and helpfulness of staff.
This property is very old and it is apparent. The room given for my reservation was a shock to my system- I opened the door to scratched up arms on the sofa, outdated, threadbare, and roughly-handled decor, stains on the bed skirts, and an obviously absent tub in service of an 'accessible' shower. The carpet throughout the property is horribly dirty. Even the plant as you come in is dying!
The staffer who originally checked me in left, and Kaitlyn come on shift. She was very accommodating to my displeasure, and offered a different room on a floor that had been updated. This room looked like the first one, minus the clawed-up fabric on the sofa. She swiftly began processing my refund, for which I was very grateful to have done without conflict.
