There was no hot water during the morning on one day. The elevator was in an unsanitary condition.

Breakfast was served very nice change from other hotals that leave you to fend for yourself

Property advertised a restaurant and a bar on the property. It did not have either of those . Big hole in the rug and lots of dust on the bed frame. Staff was friendly and the price was fair but i wont stay again.

It was good. Breakfast time should be increased.

Hotel was clean but all night there was a loud noise from the elevators that could be heard throughout the building

Lots of vagrant people wondering around and in the parking area. Prostitution in the hotel lobby.

Hotel stunk No parking for bigger work vehicles had to park a block over, sketchy area of town, crack heads everywhere! Wouldn’t recommend . Hotel towels were like yellow .

The parking for trucks and trailers is 3 blocks away. We had to walk with our 2 year old, 6 months old and dog to the other side of the building just to get in and go back to get stuff out of our truck.

I truly enjoyed my visit, the bathroom may be a little outdated but super clean and was everything I needed. Breakfast included ! Brekky was brought to our table, including hot toast! Definitely visiting again!

It was nice having breakfast before we leave. It was a good breakfast .

Let me check out an hour later for no additional cost.

Place could use some renovations. Walked 2 streets to get some food and was greeted by a crack head yelling in the middle of the street. Staff was nice. One elevator was out of commission with both doors open exposing the cinderblock wall

Go somewhere else , Staff is rude and the hotel is old. Many things are not repaired.

I felt soo unsafe at all the time.. during my stay. Hotel told us not to keep anything visible in car as they have some incidents where people break glass of your car to take stuff. Also, hotel itself is not in good condition. We couldn't use shower as water was dirty. I have made a video of it as well. Will complaint to expedia..

The service was friendly, but the hotel's maintenance is poor. The receptionists and the breakfast staff were very helpful. They showed genuine dedication to their guests' well-being, and they tried their best to accommodate my needs. The breakfast food was also plentiful and delicious. Unfortunately, there were multiple issues with the conditions of the room: 1) There were holes in the window frames, which allowed flies to come into the room. This happened very often, and it was very distracting. The receptionist told me that flies are common in the fall in Timmins, but I wish that the maintenance staff does a better job of sealing those cracks. 2) There were liners (mats) in the drawers of the cabinet and thee nightstand; those liners were all old and peeling off the surface. I reported this to the receptionist, and a technician did repair the liners in my cabinet. Unfortunately, the liners in the nightstand were left unrepaired. 3) There were also minor bits of debris in the drawers upon check-in, so I had to clean them by myself. 4) The carpets in the hallways and (to a lesser extent) in the rooms were old and had some stains. 5) The air conditioner did not work properly. I had to set the temperature far lower than desired to actually make it start cooling. The buttons simply did not function as labelled. There are only 2 hotels in that area of downtown Timmins, so you can pay a lot more money to go to Holiday Inn. The Senator is a lot cheaper.

I checked out at 1:45 AM after checking in for only 45 minutes… Both beds were broken, there was no way I was staying there. The man at the front desk said I could get a full refund because of this

Staff was excellent. Room is very large and comfortable. For the price the hotel was wonderful. Glad I booked this hotel. It is located right downtown. I would recommend this hotel

This hotel is in a super sketchy area, don’t be fooled by the reviews. It is surrounded by homeless people and it seems to have tenants. Will no book this place again. The old carpet from 20 years ago in my room made it difficult to breathe, I doubt any maintenant has been done that the ac unit un the room, i immediately had a hard time breathing after turning it on. Furthermore, i didn’t have hot water in my room on the first night, the cleaning staff made a great effort to resolve this and kept my room clean however you cannot polish a turd.

Does not help that not only was work being done on the hotel but there is also major roadwork being done. But I would stay again. Room was clean and comfortable.
