As older people, the beds were a bit too high. The corner where the frig and coffee maker were located was very dark, couldn't see the instructions for coffee.

Excellent location and outstanding hospitality. The front desk manager set the stage for a wonderful visit of the upper peninsula of Michigan. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed 2 nights and were celebrating our anniversary. I had booked a suite in the Cabin Haus and while I would definitely go back to Pine Mountain, I would steer clear of Cabin Haus unless you know everyone renting their and/or it’s a big family gathering. The walls are paper thin, I heard the guy next door burp and could hear his entire conversation (and he didn’t seem to be speaking loudly or yelling). Several teenage girls moved in the 2nd night and were actually very loud talking and loud music (we aren’t that old but left for the weekend to get away from kids, not deal with loud ones! ;) We asked if there was a different room we could move to. The front desk was VERY apologetic and accommodating and were able to switch us to a room in Mountain House which seemed to be quite a bit more soundproof! Cabin Haus would be great if you know everyone or it’s a family get together! But smaller family or couple I would recommend the Lodge itself or the Mountain Haus. Restaurant was delicious! Had lunch one day and breakfast the next morning and we both enjoyed what we ordered. Beautiful location and would love to come back to ski when it snows. Thought about golfing but was cold and windy, the course looked extremely well maintained and would also come back to golf!

Being from the area, I was excited to come back for a visit and try Pine Mountain after its renovations. While the hotel room is attractive and the space is utilized as well as it can be, the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever been on. For being a resort and promoting recent renovations, I expected quality mattresses. The bathroom was also so small the door couldn't open a little more than half way because it hit the toilet, and private conversations could be heard from rooms because walls are so thin. I will say the food at the restaurant on site was excellent, especially breakfast, and the hotel offered us a free pizza and free breakfast vouchers for the restaurant, which was unexpected but super appreciated! If the beds were better, I wouldn't hesitate to come back again, but I honestly had a much better sleep experience at the AmericInn in the same town and will probably stay there next time.

The condo was missing the sliding screen door and there were cobwebs in corners & bugs in sliding door track inside the room.

The property is run down and dirty. The description stated daily housekeeping and not once was our room cleaned in the 4 nights we stayed. The restaurant is high priced with a limited menu.
