We really enjoyed staying in this hotel which is bright and modern. My only slight criticism was the air conditioning in the room which took a while to work out and get to a comfortable setting. The room was comfortable in terms of seating and the bed, the bedlinen - all that was fine. The bathroom was well maintained, toiletries provided and a powerful shower too. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge selection of pastries, breads, cheese, cold meats, cereals, yoghurts and fruit, waffles, it was very extensive.

Stay was good at the hotel, close to all the attractions and right in the old town. Rooms are clean but small but does the job for couples. Veg breakfast is limited. Quite a few options for breakfast in the vicinity. 5-7 mins drive from station and 15-18 mins from airport.

Really great location, walking distance to most of the sights. Lots of food/drink choices all around. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and perfect for travel. I would stay here again if I’m in Salzburg.

A brilliant hotel in a great location. Perfect for a city break easy access to everything and airport only 15minutes away. Great breakfasts and plenty of variety hot and cold meals.

A lovely city centre small hotel with welcoming staff, excellent facilities and a comfortable, spacious room. The old town was within an easy walk and Salzburg is a very attractive city and well cared for place to visit.

Nice hotel in a perfect location right in the heart of Salzburg. The rooms are a bit cosy but perfectly adequate. Great breakfast and good service all round.

My son and I stayed here for 2 nights when we went to settle my son in for his Erasmus term in college. It is a lovely modern hotel which had everything we required. The staff were friendly and very helpful and our room was very clean. We didn't have meals in the hotel but there are plenty of lovely restaurants close by. The hotel is very close to Mozart's Residence and the Mirabell Palace & gardens. I will stay here again when I visit my son and I would definitely recommend it to others :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Leonardo Boutique Hotel Salzburg Gablerbräu and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for exploring all of Salzburg's major tourist attractions, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. The staff was extremely helpful, with a special mention to the front desk who went above and beyond to share local tour ideas and recommendations. During our stay, my family and I were accommodated in a spacious suite that comfortably fit all three of us. The separate toilet and shower were a welcome touch, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. Furthermore, I was impressed by the attention to detail throughout the hotel - from the convenient coffee maker in the room to the complimentary fresh fruits available at the front desk. Overall, our experience at Leonardo Boutique Hotel Salzburg Gablerbräu was outstanding. The staff's hospitality and the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel truly made our stay memorable. I would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Salzburg.

This hotel was in a great location!! The front desk people were very nice and the hotel was very clean. The only thing that was unexpected was the 7 euro charge when we checked in. Still am unsure what that was for

It was a great experience, very clean and welcoming staff. The location is prime, we were near the river and were able to go to cafe’s and museums with walking distance. The room was very suitable!

We booked and pre-paid for this hotel but when we arrived we were advised they did not have a room for us. They told us they were ‘upgrading us’ & took us to their other property, the city centre hotel. They were rude when we arrived & it was definitely a downgrade not an upgrade. It is not in a great location & after booking a boutique hotel, this is more of a 3 star hotel used for large tour groups. I wouldn’t recommend the Leonardo hotels in Salzburg, we had a terrible experience

The location is amazing! Just 5 minutes walk to alt Stadtteil. Shower drainage was so slow, so We had carefully to take a shower. We understood that the hotel was renovated. But there were stairs everywhere! It was difficult to get to the reception because of stairs.

Fabulous on all levels

Strengths: size of room, great mattress, excellent breakfast buffet, friendly staff To be improved: make sure all waste baskets are empty. Also, there was a transportation ticket in the toilet when we arrived. These cleanliness items caused us to lower our ratings
