The hotel is nice. Very convenient being in the town of Blowing Rock. Elevator was down. The carpet in the hallways are either dirty, or just a terrible choice in a pattern.

The staff was super nice & had cookies upon arrival - yay! Room was really spacious and clean and updated. Loved it - comfy & cozy! And a short, easy walk downtown. And breakfast was delicious- we didn’t even realize they offered breakfast and were wowed - eggs, sausage, biscuits, grits - yummy southern classics - plus lots of other things. Something for everyone. I’d definitely stay here again!

Outside of the Annex is Ok, rooms have been updated and it is nicer than expected. New flooring and new Koler tub. Flat screen TV with DirectTV. Breakfast typical breakfast buffet. Right in the middle of all the Blowing Rock restaurants. Cookies in the afternoon were great.

Towels and sheets were stained. Rooms need any update. Elevators were out in entire hotel which was very inconvenient especially in carting luggage. Coffee mentioned in lobby was always old and cold

We arrived late but had the most wonderful check in gal. The elevator wasn’t working and she made sure we were okay walking up the stairs. Not a problem. I wandered out on the patio to see the fire pit last night annd it was so pretty out there. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly cleaned. Oh, and, it was quite spacious. Nothing amiss. The bathroom amenities were great and I thought the shower gel was excellent. The breakfast this morning was outstanding and the room where we ate was quite pretty. It’s not too often I’d say I’d return to a place because I love checking out new spots, but, for sure, we will be back.

The Inn was clean and welcoming but the wood furniture in my room was a bit beat up. What bothered me the most was that there is no guest bathroom on the first floor when you check in. The only available bathroom was in the basement between the pool and the workout room. So you have to walk through the locker rooms to have access to a public bathroom. The bathroom in my room was great. You have to go to the basement to access the lounge area where breakfast is served. Again a problem with no guest bath available. Then the elevator stopped working so you had to use the stairs to get to the lobby or basement or to go to your room on the second or third floors to find a bathroom. I just found it very troublesome. It's a shame they have no guest bathrooms available on the lobby floor or in the basement. And with no elevator it was challenging for those with walking and/or stair disabilities. They offer coffee 24/7 but you have to go to the desk to get hot tea. One of the front desk attendants was not pleased we asked for hot tea. The breakfast area did not provide hot chocolate for the children and when we asked they had none. They also did not offer any flavored coffee creamers. They did not serve breakfast until 7:30 so if you have an early appointment good luck with that. It is not a place I would recommend to any person I know personally.

We were out for a few days away. Nice accommodations, nice size room, clean and friendly. An Inn atmosphere, we enjoyed it . Breakfast was very good. Proximity to Blowing Rock and Boone was a big plus. We will stay here again.

Really nice place with easy walking access to downtown restaurants. We also thought the breakfast was better than the usual hotel breakfast fare. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay there again when we go back.

Our room had no heat so staff provided a portable heater for us since it was 8°. The heater was slow but effective for heating our room but we later discovered our hot water was only warm at best. The elevator was also broke which was only a minor inconvenience but on top of everything else we decided to end our stay early.

Lovely location. Nice gas logs and private sunroom. Poor guest experience. Elevator and ice machine out of service. Hallway carpet well past its prime. Unreliable cable TV reception. Overtreated water. Strange noises from the building. Uncomfortable furniture. :-/

Conveniently located in walking distance to everything downtown however this property has seen better days. The elevator dos not work in the annex building where we stayed on the second floor. The rooms are very outdated and the king bed I slept on was quite possibly the most uncomfortable, old bed I’ve ever slept on. The pull out couch mattress was even worse and so uncomfortable my sister simply slept on the very shallow couch. A decent 3-star hotel.

Restaurant is closed, also the bar, but it was not mentioned anywhere prior to making the reservation. I did not like the breakfast item at all, if you are expecting good variety, this is not the place. Rooms are good, ac extremely loud!! Housekeeping service I am not even going to comment on. I am not staying there again, nor am I recommending this place to friends and family.

Friendly and courageous staff. A little noisy with a lot of kids around, but that comes with the territory. The breakfast was excellent. A location for a nice getaway in any season. Convenient mall right around the corner. I highly recommend it.

Small hotel very very cleaned, amazing room and breakfast, we could go walking to the Main Street. Lots of options for kids, restaurants and shopping. 8 minutes from Appalachian Mt. Just loved! I will be there again for sure!

The hotel was pleasant, great location between Main Street and Sunset, near all of the things you want to do in town. Our stay was 4 nights and we were supposed to have housekeeping after night 2. Our room appeared to have not been serviced and the front desk clerk apologized profusely, provided us with fresh towels and a bottle of wine for the oversight.

My family and I came here for a few days before Christmas to relax and unwind. The accommodations were stellar and we especially liked the breakfast buffet and the decor around the inn. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Our stay could not have been better and it’s all because of the front desk staff! We had to change rooms ( through no fault of the Inn) and we were moved quickly and efficiently without any interruption to our trip. The breakfast every morning was delicious. The lobby was well-appointed. Our suite was lovely - with a fireplace! We have told several friends about our stay and we will definitely be return guests!

Great choice for lodging near the heart of Blowing Rock's main streets, but far enough away to be shielded from the noise. One piece of advice: I booked through Expedia & knew to call the property to book one of the few rooms in which pets are allowed. I phoned the day after making the reservation, but my request was inadvertently not recorded. Make sure you get a confirmation of your pet request!

The property advertises a Lounge with food service. Wednesday afternoon I was told Lounge only open Thursday thru Saturday. Thursday morning "yes the Lounge will be open this evening. "Thursday evening "Oh we are not open the Bar Tenders Grandmother died and we just learned about it" I would not rely on their adds again and I would not stay there again.

Nice room, and hotel is in a good location with easy parking and in and out. Breakfast was very good although started a bit late for us. Could hear neighbors a couple of nights, but it was Halloween, and the young kids were in town. Beds were comfortable. Fitness room could use some new equipment, but at least they had one. Not norm right there in town. Thought it to be good value.

The good-Hotel was clean and well kept. The Bad-Eco Friendly HVAC unit sounded like jet airplane engine roaring on and off all night. Impossible to watch TV or sleep for more than 10 minutes at a time. Adjoining rooms have TV turned up to max to hear it over their Jet engine in their room. Eco friendly does not equal sleep friendly.
