Very unique property. Mix of historical site (originally a convent) and modern amenities. We stayed in a spacious modern room, that walked out to large grounds. The hotel included the original chapel that rivaled many that we saw in Portugal - it was beautiful. We swam in the large infinity pool and enjoyed walking the grounds. We ate dinner in the casual bar area but it was exceptionally good. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. This is a unique property that provided an exceptional experience - worth the price. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at Convento Espinheiro. The staff was very amicable and helpful. There were minor maintenance issues in our room, such as the bidet toilet attachment and the shower handles, but everything else was superb. The restaurants are top notch!

Beautiful historic property. Comfortable room and bed. We had dinner in the Italian restaurant which was very good. Amazing breakfast.
