Hotel was close to the beach. Staff excellent. Food very good. Beach very clean. Sea polluted yellow scum.

We stopped in here en route to Venice and found it pleasant enough. The room was satisfactory, the bed was quite comfortable and they offer free parking on site which is a positive. On the negative side, the fridge smelled quite bad, a few floors seemed under construction and there is not a great deal to do close by - perhaps it would be more bustling in Summer.

First but not last visit to the area of Emilia-Romagna in Italy.
Advantages:- Rimini is an excellent centre for culture and entertainment, with good and frequent rail connections along the coast to areas such as Ravenna and Pesaro.
Weather good for the time of the year.
I would recommend this hotel, with it's excellent cuisine and sea views.
Accessible from Bologna airport via the train (one hour).
Disadvantage: If you like swimming on a regular basis, visit between late May and mid September, otherwise the red flag is flying and swimming is prohibited.

Upon check in I was put in a room facing the street, even though the description on Expedia was ocean view. I went to the front desk and they were extremely professional and gave me a better view. If you are on 4th + ocean view probably isn’t bad. I was on the 3rd floor it wasn’t anything too special. The property was clean. The room was a decent size, it’s outdated and the bed is hard. But if you are just there to sleep and shower as I was it’s more than good enough. The location is geared more towards older people and families with you kids. The hotel is right on the beach. I thought Rimini Beach was closer, but it’s about a 25-30 minute walk. I took a cab from the train station each way was about $13 Euros. There is a place next to the hotel on the beach that serves food and drinks which was nice. Overall the property is very good. For me I would have rather been closer to Rimini Beach where it was more lively. But if you have kids or looking for a more laid back place I would recommend this property. They also do have parking. Ciao!
