Excellent service and check in. However this is a 1 or 2 star hotel at best and it shows in the quality of the rooms. Our sink was clogged and unusable. There was old kleenex stuffed in the bathroom window screen. It felt uncomfortable to be there because we were worried about the functionality and cleanliness.

Front desk staff was rude. Online pictures must have been from when the property was new. Rooms were nothing like the pictures and there were bugs in the room.

We absolutely loved our stay! Chris was amazing with welcoming us at check in, love his personality! The property itself has a perfect location, you can literally see Rushmore from different seating areas/the parking lot and if you get a mountain-side room you can see it from your door! The room itself was exactly what we needed, a place to keep our stuff while we experienced the beautiful surroundings and a place to rest our eyes in between. Will most definitely stay here again with our future trips!

The hotel is in need a updating. The carpets, blankets and curtains smelled of cigarettes and mildew. Even though the room appeared to be clean the smell was difficult to overcome. The wooden doors to the outside did not give me a secure feeling. On a positive note the view from the walkway was very nice.

Area was amazing, wildlife was seen, walked to breakfast every morning. Shopping was walkable. Great location.

Good location, close to everything around Mt. Rushmore. They have coffee in the morning, A:C in the rooms. Adding some brochures od extra services they offer would be a plus in the rooms. For the rest, is very convenient for the rates.

Basic, no frills hotel. Could use some updating. All we needed was a safe, quiet clean place to sleep while we explored the Black Hills. It suited our needs at a reasonable cost. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Ann.

They do NOT take American Express. This was not . mentioned prior to arrival and they only take exact cash. The beds leave a new definition of firm. The pillows seem to be a composite of Portland cement and granite molded into a loaf pan. Staff were very nice and courteous. Will I stay here again? NO NO NO

Toilet far too low. Poor quality with misleading advertising. Dont accept Am Express and dont have change tor cash. A real dumbo. Wont ever stay there again. Jerksp

Conveniently located close to Mount Rushmore, could see the side from our balcony. Outside could use some maintenance and try to get rid of all the bird/birds nest on the side of the property. Room was decent but nothing fancy.

It was a nice place, the staff was very friendly. The location is excellent for visiting Mount Rushmore. I was on limited time, but i would like to return to the area . There are many things to do and see. I would stay there again.

Really liked this Motel. Great area, few minute walk away from the restaurants and shops. And 5 minute drive to Mount Rushmore. You can actually see the monument from the hotel, in the distance. In particular, one of the staff at reception called Moose, was really helpful and offered lots of advice on places to see, and recommended a tour which i did, and lots of good info about the area, such as hiking trails etc. No breakfast here, but a good cafe across from the reception. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

Property was nicely located to shopping and restaurants. And very close to Mt Rushmore. Staff was very friendly and accomofating. There is no swimming pool or hot tub. No body lotion. Parking is available.

The room was small and it was a very old motel but we didn’t expect much. The water pressure was terrible. It did not have a mini fridge and microwave in the room but they found a floating fridge for us to use. So that was very accommodating of them.

Place could use updating. Friendly staff. Aprox 5 min drive to Near Mt Rushmore monument and centrally located in Keytone. Town stores and dinning are walking distance. Typical above average motel, but love the area near almost everything. Keystone town is beautiful. I would stay here again with my 2 grand kids.

This hotel is older with not many amenities but our room was clean and comfortable enough for a 1 night stay. It's convenient to all the area attractions and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay again for a couple nights.
