Just WOW! This was like staying at you eccentric, generous, Bohemian uncle’s place - cool art and artifacts EVERYWHERE, snacks and drink offerings available 24 hours/day, and well appointed, clean, and comfortable “guest” room! The night we came in, I was lucky enough to actually meet Chef “Uncle” John Cariere, the proprietor. He was very welcoming and accommodating and invited us to the complimentary breakfast. We could smell it the next morning, but were just too comfortable to get out of the bed! 😅
Instead, we woke leisurely and made a coffee at his extensive coffee bar then sat out on the side yard under the amazing huge tree! His place is nestled in an impressive area abundant with large historic looking homes and was incredibly peaceful. We just enjoyed every aspect of our visit and his place will be reason enough to return to Shreveport!

Excellent stay.
The breakfast was the most amazing meal I have ever had at an overnight stay.
The owner/chef sat in the dining room with my wife and I and gave us an interest history of Shreveport
Overall 5 star or better.
