Great location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I’ve stayed here before however, this time my room exceeded my expectations. It appeared to be brand new. Beach chairs were available for free. Private beach, private, swimming pool. You couldn’t ask for anything more.

I was drawn to this hotel from a review that described it as a "hidden gem." Upon arrival I found my greeting to be underwhelming. The person who checked me in gave no smile and I felt as if they couldn't wait for me to stop asking clarifying questions. As a solo traveler and mom to a young child I wanted nothing more then quiet relaxation and a few good nights sleep. I found my room to be small though clean and updated. My room was right next to the pool so at first I was worried it would be loud, but it wasn't and it was actually really nice to be able to slip right out of my room for a dip. The pool area was lovely with palm trees all around and protected from the wind off the ocean. It was a short walk from my room to the beach which was also lovely and chaise loungers were provided to relax on. I would describe Redington as a quiet beach town, very walkable to cafes and food. IF YOU WANT A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GET IT. I found the bed to be lumpy and uncomfortable. Even worse were the bright lights shining through the flimsy shades on the windows coming from the pool/walkway on one side of the room and parking lot on the other side of the room. The noise outside the room at night was unbelievable! A staff member was rolling a mop bucket which sounded like a giant, rumbling storm around 2 am every night. The first night I stuck my head out the door because I was so alarmed and informed them how loud it was yet they continued to do it every night.

Outlets frequently popped circuit. No lamp in the room. Toilets didn’t flush well. Had to request clean towels twice during our one week stay. Courtyard is very nice. Beach area has shade and sun. Staff is friendly.

I checked in on a Sunday night and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. On Monday, when I went to check beach towels out, I asked about renting a chair. The lady on duty rented me a chair for $10. When I went to the beach and realized there were free loungers, I went back to the office to ask about those chairs which she said were free but never offered to refund my money. Considering i was charged a resort fee for two days when one of those I checked in late and then checked out before 7:00 am you would think she would have returned the $10 for a chair rental that I didn’t need was poor customer service in my opinion. I am not sure I would return.

Our room ready on our arrival, very clean and well appointed. Staff was very assisting helping with getting our belongings to our room using the luggage trolley. We will be back at Hotel Sol.

The main office is a standard beach check-in office. We stayed in building #3 and loved that you had to use your room key to access the elevator for added security. Parking was directly below our room and made it easy to transport the luggage. The room was spacious and clean.

This is a very good beachfront hotel. Clean, comfortable and many great restaurants close. Pool is heated. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas available. Ice machine, coffee available. Tropical garden between the walkway. Friendly staff.

This is budget motel, so the expectation should be low. I got in late (after 9) and there was no staff on site. It took me a while to figure out how to check in at the kiosk (be ready to provide a bunch of info) and then to figure out where to park, since the parking in front of the hotel has only 15 spots. Inside, the A/C would not keep the temp low and so I had to get up about four times through the night to readjust it. The shower would turn cold after 5 minutes and there was a drain smell inside it. I never could get the TV to work. It turns on but that's about it. The walls are paper-thin, so you will hear everything, including the guy snoring next door.

When the weather is good, this property is perfect. Nice pool. Both Sunny and shady areas right on the beach. When it’s cold, the room is just too small.

I thought walking across the four lane road would be horrible but there are flashing lights that the drivers obey very well. Never felt nervous crossing over to the pool or ocean side.

The weekend woman was very nice when a family took a long time to get registered. Other women at the front desk throughout the week were less than personable. When our sheets were changed the first time, they were filled with a lot of sand and were dirty. I don't know how dirty sheets ended up on our bed. We had to sleep on top of the sheet that night. We asked to get our sheets changed the next day. That time they were extremely clean, which we appreciated. The room was to be cleaned every other day, so I worried about running out of towels. We left a good tip anyway. I was not impressed with the front desk staff. Not very friendly.

Hotel is close to our friends house, and to the beach. We stayed on the property across the street for five days over New Year’s. Our room was wheelchair accessible. Room was spacious, and so was the bathroom. However, not a single shelf for clothes, or a hanger to hang your clothes. There was only a coat rack in the bathroom, so we had to leave pretty much everything in our suitcases. Also, nobody cleaned our room for two days before our departure.

It was good, thought the bathroom shawer splashed everywhere. The living room was big and the kitchen too bit lack of a sink made it harder. You could use tha much space way better.

Our only Complaints were that the ice machine at the main hotel did not work so we had to venture across the street to the secondary hotel each time to get ice. The next issue was a minor plumbing issue. We could not get hot water at the shower but we discovered that if we ran the faucet at the bathroom sink until it got hot which was fast. Then left it going as a slight stream, then we got hot water at the shower. Apparently theres a vapor lock issue. FYI...this was room 125. Other than those 2 minor issues....this place was wonderful and affordable. We would not recommend this place to anyone cuz we want to keep this place all to ourselves!!!

An amazing jewel. Top notch desk crew with stellar customer service. Beautiful grounds. Very nice swimming pool. Beachfront with chaise lounges, a hammock, tables, towels, barbeques. Chairs and umbrellas for rent. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Pillows and bedding top tier. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker. Perfect. Safe in room for valuables. Bathroom was well appointed. Ample towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner. A perfect stay. We'll be back.

All great, except the the website still states the pool will reopen at end of September. However, he was still closed at the during my October 7-8. This was disappointing.

Apparently the pool is closed for the season. Wish I had known that before it made my reservations. Nonetheless it's a fabulous Hotel once the pool fixed I will continue to stay there.

Not advise of damage with hurricane, pool was closed, if they send an email with advise the customer can make the decition if stay or change the dates, the place was not ready to receive customer
