We loved the concept: entertainment area for the kids, indoor pool and the buffet breakfast. The hotel seemed well maintained however it felt old and our room had a musty kind of smell and a few ants. We were satisfied wirh our stay.

Got in late and left early, the accommodations were clean, spacious, and the front desk person was quick and professional, overall an easy and pleasent experience. 👍

This is a good hotel for families, pool, fantastic play area, good breakfast. Problems, there was no enough hot water to take a shower, you have to wait 15 minutes to have hot water again. Also the fire place was impossible to turn on. The room was far and outside the main building so come back from the pool was difficult

The hotel is very cozy and nice. It has so many kids friendly amnities that keeps a whole family busy for 2 days. The indoor park is amazing, best i have seen so far

The land around the property was nice. The room itself is basic but sufficient. Hiwever, it had a strong odor- perhaps from excessive dampness. I was too tired to request a change as I was staying for just one night.

The rooms here are outdated and dirty. We booked a room for our wedding anniversary and upon arrival we noticed an unpleasant order, the carpet wasn't clean, parts of it were missing, bathroom had dust and spider webs on the door and in the corners of the shower. The area around the toilet bowl was disgusting, dirty with "brown" stains on and around it. There were even some on the shower wall. The bathtub didn't drain properly, water was coming back up as well as hair and pubes. We also found mold stains on the curtains When complaining at the front desk we were told that the person responsible wasn't on location and hab to send an email, which we did. There response was Thank you for your comments, we have forwarded them internally for review". What a joke.
Read the comments before even thinking about booking a room here, I wish I had., and trust me the comments about this place are not that far fetched.

The staff were very helpful and kind but the rooms are in disrepair. We tried three different (unsatisfactory) rooms and then opted to leave and find a different hotel. Sad because the location is lovely and we were looking forward to taking advantage of the spa amenities. I’m grateful the the staff was helpful and did not give us any trouble.

This is a beautiful property, the pond with ducks, gardens and greenery, indoor play area for children is amazing, both indoor and outdoor pools are lovely and were so warm, the room is spacious and modern, very clean and quiet. Definitely plan on coming back and will try a massage next time. Very satisfied with my stay :)

Not for me. Kids enjoy some of the facilities, but it’s all shabby and smells like old carpeting and the food is underwhelming. The rooms are super badly laid out too. I’m sure it works for some people, not for me

This hotel is in serious need of updating. Shower head filled with rust and other debris. Baseboards filled with moistures.

Exceptional hospitality. We do not speak much French but the staff never hesitated to graciously, and with a kind smile, switch to English to accommodate our lack of language skills. It made us feel very welcome. Additionally, the front desk and housekeeping staff went way out of their way to send us items we left behind in our room. It was a great example of old-school hospitality. We were so impressed and grateful. We experienced similar positive interactions around the community. Orford is a lovely place to visit. We'll be back!

Room 112. It’s in the basement. We called it the dungeon room. It smells like mold and just over all outdated. At 2 am I felt something bite my leg so i stripped the bed and checked the mattress. I found dead ants and bugs on the mattress. I called the receptionist and asked for a refund, I would have rather slept in my car as there was no other check ins available and I was in a different country than my own. I was told he did not have that authority and we would figure it out in the morning and gave me a room switch. Ended up sleeping in my car anyway. In the morning Expedia tried to handle this situation for me and the manager wanted to see my bites on my body, I’m not exposing my body to a complete stranger thank you though! Refused to give me a refund because they inspected the room and didn’t find any bugs. I have videos and pictures of the entire room and the mattresses with nasty bugs, check out the google reviews for this hótel. Manager said that she was going to have a inspection of the room done at a later date but I doubt it considering their demeanor towards me. The property itself is stunning. Was planning on bringing our kids back with us for a second visit. Absolutely not now. Also the restaurant is over priced and undercooked, you’re better off leaving the property if you want a decent meal. The bar was nice.

Was a great place with children in and outdoor pools , great inside play area . Very expensive restaurant for a regular buffet . Clean premises beautiful nature and flowers . Room was clean with nice bed and sheets. I would recommend . Not far from Magog 😎
