I called earlies in the week and asked if their hot tub was working and they told me yes. i ask about the hot tub the day of reservation and again they said, " it was working" "no problem". I drove in after a long drive to find the hot tub not working. When I asked about the hot tub they mentioned, "yes it should be working but if not were sorry about it not working". Sounds like a good manager having well trained employees!

Nice new suite - nothing worn and all in perfect operating condition. But not a single utensil in the kitchenette. No toilet plunger. Large, friendly cockroach.

The first night we were next to the elevator, not good! And we were not able to regular the heat as it was extremely cold for Laredo. The people above us were very rowdy! I asked to be switched to the top floor and away from the elevator and I was accommodated. The second night was much better, quiet, warm and a little more updated. The staff was great making sure we could switch rooms. Close to the airport and many eateries, which was a plus.

Restroom tub had chips. Mold spots ceiling above tub. Body language from front desk staff changed once they found out I used Expedia. Makes me wonder if that the reason we were assigned that particular room. AC wasn’t the best either.

Front staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff not so much. By 8:05 several people asked for breakfast food and were told they had run out . They only had one single cup coffee maker for weekend use!

Before staying it wasn’t to my knowledge of the hotel being under construction, eating/front desk area had storage, gym was unavailable, and business center was unavailable.

We decided to stay at this location because the price (not cheap), location, and name made it seem like it would be a clean, comfortable stay. I don't think I've ever stayed at a Holiday Inn that was in this condition. Even if you decide to ignore the entire lobby area that is under construction and the elevators that are out of service, the room itself had multiple carpet stains, a weird smell, the furniture was straight out of the 90s, and the TV in the room was tiny. Unfortunately, it was one of those that you try to minimize how much contact you have with the room until you leave.

the fact that they still make reservations for customers when they don't have any available rooms left in the property and not giving the customer an advance notification of the issue until you get there to check in.

The room had no soap at all. The lotion bottle was half full. There was something disgusting all over the wall in the bathroom. The bathtub was full of rust. The juice water machine was broken and the front desk clerk could have care less.

Hotel is dirty, the bathroom soap was made in Mexico and of sub grade quality, it was rough and never foamed up.
