Beautiful location and fantastic hotel

When you book via Expedia you are not given priority room selection. They give that to people who reserve direct at full price.
We booked in February for a July reservation. They would not let us confirm our three rooms could be together on the same floor. When we arrived they put one room on the first, one on the second and one on the fourth floors. That was disappointing.
The food was incredible however expensive.
The balcony in our room hadn’t been swept or ridden of cobwebs in a VERY long time. The pool is small and packed. The free use of canoes, paddle boats and paddle boards is lovely. Bring your own beach chairs as the Adirondack chairs are very few and always in use. Beautiful hotel, venue, atmosphere. The on-demand shuttle bus to and from the village is an incredible service!
Highly recommend the Canadian Wilderness canoe trip excursion booked via Expedia! It’s pricey but money well spent! You tour Alta Lake and surrounding waterways for 3 hours.

Will absolutely be coming back here. Lovely staff, space is gorgeous. Only wish we could have more time here. They accept the whole family too! (We brought our two cats)
