Resort accomodation and facilities are great. Only disappointing bit was the contradicting information provided by reception staff. View is amazing, onsite restaurants are really good! Hotel is within walking distance of Surfers and directly across from patrolled beach. Will definitely stay again.

Apartment was large in size and well setup for family with young children. Pool area was great and well cared for - kids loved it. Unfortunately our apartment had the dishwasher breakdown early in our stay and staff were not very interested. Street noise is also significant, and bedrooms are not blockout on the windows, if you or your family are a light sleeper this might be an issue.

Love that it was easily accessible for our son who is a wheelchair user. Pools were accessible however we were very disappointed that we could not access the gym facilities (stairs only). Other than that it met all our needs. The check-in staff did not explain a number of things which we had to ask staff about the next morning.

The property looks pretty good from outside. The pools are gorgeous and nice areas to relax with eating and drinking close by. The views from the room are pretty good as well. Unfortunately the staff on front desk are always too busy and lack the warmth and are not very welcoming. The photo of the bathroom in the pictures are misleading. I asked to change my room based upon the photo of the bathroom when i booked. They did change my room to a higher floor but same old bathroom with one small sink and powerpoint inside the drawer hard to find and the AC not working well I had to call twice to get the maintenance people to check on it.The apartments certainly need a make over. It is definitely not worth the money. While the pools were fabulous. I found green and white stuff growing on the walls inside the pool. With all due respect to all cultures, I found people fully dressed in the clothes that they were out with use the pool and wash their shoes there. And yet there were others who were fully dressed but in swimming costumes. All in all the place did not give me the holiday that i was looking for. It is definitely overprized.

Absolutely loved the apartment was exactly perfect for what we were wanting but nitcied in the main room that the floor next to the bathroom in the main room with a queen bed was wet i let admin know about it but nothing hapoened so i had to dry it myself the best i could with towels

The hotel stay had its positives with a spacious and pleasant room, but there were disappointments. The claim of an "ocean spa" led to finding it in the bathroom, creating a lack of true ocean views. Cleaning standards fell short, with hair in the bathtub and neglect in dish and bathroom cleaning. The staff lacked a service-oriented and friendly attitude, often appearing annoyed. The sole positive note was a helpful and kind man, but, overall, I wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again.

While the hotel’s iconic status initially raised my expectations, I found there wasn’t a defining “wow” moment during my stay (probably due to the lower level). Additionally, the second room’s proximity to a noisy air conditioning unit made it challenging to fully utilise the space at night. Nevertheless, despite these shortcomings, I still managed to enjoy my overall stay.

The staff were fantastic and the room and view were great. Unfortunately my stay coincided with the Schoolies Festival which was unavoidable but meant that the guests in neighbouring rooms were pretty loud until pretty late. The gym was a bit underwhelming but overall a great hotel in a great spot.

Fantastic place to stay. Room on floor 47 had magic views. No trouble with lifts like others have said. Only dramas was sun/light into the bedrooms first thing in morning. No blackout blinds so master room got very hot first thing. Would definitely return. Price was high but not unreasonable given late notice booking.
