The staff in the breakfast restaurant is a disaster. They clear away your breakfast if you just get a second coffee. I would exchange them as soon as possible.

Perfect location, clean rooms and quiet. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options, however the restaurant/cafeteria was closed for the whole length of my stay. I would definitely choose it again.

This is obviously a well used hotel in a really good and quiet location. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable although getting a little tired. For example you had to stand against the wall in the bath to get under the water from the shower. The water in the toilet cistern did not completely shut off and was constantly dripping, no problem during the day but very annoying through the night.

Friendly staff in the evening shift. We were able to leave our bags before and after check-out. The front desk organised taxis for us and provided a map. We chose this hotel as its near to the bus station and its also by the beach. The cleanliness was superb. I wiped the room with my own cleaning wipes and there was no dust at all. The housekeeping do a very thorough clean between guests.

Als 4 Sterne Hotel unakzeptabel. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer im ersten Stock für 3 Personen. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken, Gäste gingen ein und aus und unterhielten sich lautstark. Selbst bei geschlossenen Fenstern war es so laut, dass man nicht schlafen konnte. Auch kamen Gäste noch gegen 1.30 Uhr und zwar direkt über unserem Zimmer. Eine Beschwerde brachte keine Änderung, es wurde angeregt die Fenster zu schließen! Die Air-Condition in Hause war angeblich auf 20 Grad gestellt, bei uns waren es über 25 Grad! Nach wenigen Minuten war Ruhe versprochen, was leider nicht zu traf.s ging noch lange laut weiter. Eine Entschädigung erfolgte nicht, obwohl wir morgens befragt wurden ,ob alles in Ordnung gewesen sei. Das Hotel ist allgemein in die Jahre gekommen und befindet sich direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße. Personal gab es kaum, man war aber um Freundlichkeit bemüht, was uns auch nicht weiter half.

Arrived early so staff let me put luggage in storeroom whilst room was made ready.. So no complaintshere. i had paid for halfboard which i thought included breakfast and evening meal. Was told it only included breakfast so i had to pay €12 for buffet meal. Pretty sure this is incorrect as the breakfast plus room option was cheaper by £10.

This property was directly opposite the beach in the city of Arrecife. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants but the area predominantly caters for local residents and is not a tourist resort.

Hotel was lovely. Didn't eat there so can't remark on food. Room was very clean and well maintained. We hired a car and visited lots of places but have to say my favourite was Puerto Del Carmen.

WE liked how close the hotel was to the bus stop, giving us access to around the Island. Also we could step out the door and cross a quiet road to the beach. It was a quieter place to stay than Porto Carmen etc but easy to get there on the bus and very good cheap fares.

Room cannot be faulted. Comfortable, clean and spacious. Bathroom was good, too. Water hot and plentiful. Bath had couple of rust marks. Breakfast was varied and although not everything to my taste there was never any chance of us going hungry. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location for beach, transport, dining and drinking. TV not so good for English language eg no BBC world. All in all, an enjoyable stay in a good hotel.

Given its location right on the water, it is, of course, difficult to park and even to drive around the area. While the hotel offers parking on a fee basis, guests have to try to snare a temporary slot in front, then enter the hotel, provide documents, and then drive all the way down the street and then back, to another street behind, to access the parking. The remote to open the garage door that they gave me was less than responsive (it took several tries to get it to work), and although i was able to park easily enough, and the back door of the hotel is just across the street and down from the parking garage, there is no access from that side, so you have to walk around to the front of the hotel again (with luggage) to get back in. Then, to leave, one of the hotel staff members has to accompany you to back to the garage to open it so you don't have to drive around the block again to return the remote. Very poorly planned out!

This was a good no frills hotel right across from the sea. The staff are pleasant and efficient. The sea view room was very nice and I recommend it. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was clean. Water pressure good too. The location had good transport links being so close to the bus station and the airport. You can catch the local buses to other parts of the island, join guided tours and get the airport bus easily. The breakfast was pretty standard. Plenty to choose from but it wasn’t anything beyond standard. All in all, I was happy with my stay in Arrecife at Hotel Diamar. It was very relaxing.

We stayed here for just one night, after a late flight. The hotel met our every need. Ten minutes from the airport. On Street Parking. Good Buffet meal, extremely reasonable cost. Clean comfortable room with great breakfast. Highly recommend

Hotel is in a fantastic position opposite the beach it is well worth upgrading room to a sea view ( if your up early you can see the cruise ships coming in ,usually about 6 ) bicycles can be hired at 5 euros for whole day, there is a hire shop next door for all sea activities. It’s silly little things like no table cloths that stops it from rising to a four star but the price would go up, Breakfast & dinner are buffet style so you can eat as much as you like all prices are very reasonable.

My daughter and I stayed for 6 days, had a twin room with a sea view and we had a pleasant stay. Restaurants are just down the road, and the staff were very nice and helpful! Would definitely go back!

Stayed here for 9 nights for a summer holiday and would recommend Hotel Diamar! Very clean and staff are very friendly. Located straight across the road from the beach and plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars surrounding the area. Very close to the bus station and would highly recommend getting the 10 minutes bus ride into Puerto del Carmen where it's a bit more lively and busy with lots of lovely restaurants to eat in and do a bit of shopping! Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again, hotel had all the basic facilities we were looking for. One thing I would recommend is to bring your own hair dryer, the one provided is a bit useless, but other than that no complaints
