My husband, young child and myself had an incredible night at this hotel. Upon arrival the lobby is very beautiful and the staff was amazing. We had called earlier re.late check out and she remembered and asked if that was us upon arrival. Also she was just really nice and informative. The pool was lovely, the area super inviting, the sauna spectacular, the hot tub was more of a jetted pool area as it joined the pool so was not hot but rather pool water temperature. Our room was very nice and modern. They had a $ fridge/beverage/snack area in your room (this was nice as we arrived later and the prices were reasonable. The bed was comfortable and they offered ample pillows. If being nit picky a deeper clean ie underside lip of inside the toilet bowl(I could see it from the deep bath but you would never of noticed if you only showered) or ensuring no little hairs on shower wall (there was one) the food at breakfast was good and affordable. My son whom is three loved it and gave it two thumbs up. I have to agree with him.

Place was ok. The room was very dusty. The bed headboard was full of dust and so was the area around the bed in general. The comfort level for the bad was very average. The orientation of the TV was awkward relative to the bed and rest of the room. No room service was available but multiple snacks and drinks were available for purchase in the room. Overall I rate this as average.

Dining room restaurant prices were too high! Staff stayed back from tge desk while talking to me. Did not clean my room after first or second night. Was told later that we had to request this.

It was good, we go there every year, but I have to say that I was surprised when I saw the dirt walls. Don’t know what it was, but look like it was coffee on the wall. That’s the first thing I saw when i come in the room. Except that, it was perfect.

On Oct. 24 Room #1 was smelling very heavily of tobacco smoke. The front desk attendant came up to verify the problem & assigned Room #2. Very soon we found that the 2nd room & bed were not made to accept new guests (hair on bedsheet of unmade bed, missing light-bulb, etc.). At this point we were ready to leave. She informed us that we could not cancel the reservation and that we should talk to the property mgr. at 9h in the morning. The morning crew informed us that the mgr. was not available; we asked that we should be compensated for a lost night; the response was "we’ll look into it". The 2nd morning the mgr. was still not available. On the 3rd morning Oct. 27 at checkout the morning crew told us to come back in 20 min. The mgr. was not available either not even by phone. The supervisor finally offered a 20% discount of the first night. After what happened with a lost night of sleep this was just adding insult to injury. We paid our full bill, asked that they relay this information to the mgr. so that she could correct the problem with a credit of the 1st night. For 2 weeks we heard nothing from Imperia. On Nov. 10 we sent the mgr. a polite email with all the details and request for compensation for a full night credit with a response requested by Nov. 13. We gave the mgr. ample time to act responsibly to correct what happened. As of Nov. 25 no response received. We then forwarded the email to the general mgr. and reiterated our request. As of Dec. 5 still no response!

I was somewhat disappointed with the fact that I was there for 8 days and no one came to my room to check if I needed anything. Same linen for 8 days. Restaurant not open for dinner. $200. plus a night and basically no service is a bit much.

Not too far from downtown Montreal, so driving was no problem. It helped that they didn't charge an extra fee for parking. Also, very patient and helpful at the check in desk. 10/10

The cleanliness of the room leaves little to be desired. The carpet was not vacuumed, the ladies' hair was everywhere, and the cupboards were not checked or cleaned. I went to the hotel website to book the room it redirected me to Hotel.com.

Overall very dusty, there were mold in the AC unit and the curtains. First night (of 2) there was a wedding going on and the music was disturbing guest past 2 AM in the morning and the staff did not do anything after receiving complaints. There was no sound proofing at all so it was impossible to rest.

Disappointed in gym, pretty much only cardio machines… disappointed in comfort of matress. Our cards for doors did not work well… but the room was clean and nice, the pool satisfied!

When I was made the booking by expedia the breakfast service is included. On the other hand The Hotel does not bring the breakfast. Saying that it is not included. I need an explanation please.

Couple of suggestions only.... 1. let people know that the only ice machine is on the main floor. There was no indication anywhere, not even in the room. 2. that a beautiful hotel had not lunch or dinner options i.e. resto was closed was unacceptable. 3. upgrade your toilet paper in the rooms. 4. check in was lovely with Alfred, he was an excellent registry officer. Overall too expensive for what was on sight. But was okay overall.

Room only had one set of towels and was told at front desk they had no extras. They did come up with a set late that evening after my wife and I had to share a set that day. There was also no housekeeping available the entire weekend. The bar/restaurant was also closed our entire stay. We have stayed at Imperia several times in the past and were always impressed. This time, not so much. Service/amenities not what we expected when we booked.

This hotel was pretty good. We stayed here because we have friends who live 10 minutes away. Staff were friendly and did a good job. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant the first morning, which was nice, but it took a long time to receive our food. We ate a very very similar breakfast next door at the A&W the next two days, which was pretty quick and a bit cheaper. We felt pretty comfortable there, and it worked for us.

We were told upon arrival (on a Friday) that there would be no cleaning service over the weekend. We were fine with that, we don't need the room cleaned daily. On Monday, I asked the front desk to make sure we got clean towels and the bed changed. It did not happen, so I asked them to make sure it was cleaned on Tuesday. It was not. The front desk staff told us they did not get their delivery of towels (isn't there a washing machine on the premises?). We got 4 pool towels (very small for bath towels) and never got cleaning services the entire time we were there. We know if's not the front desk staff's fault, but they got the brunt of complaints (and not just from us, we heard others complaining as well.) We stayed at this hotel because it was close to where my brother lives, but we will NOT be staying there again unless their staffing and laundry situations improve.

Rude staff, annoying that you need an escort to pool, or a so called gym. Literally just a half working running machine, an old cable machine, and one bicycle. They should not be saying the have a gym. Room was dirty.

Not very impressive Some kind of party going on. Lots of people and noise at the entrance. Got hit with a $150 deposit “in case we break something”. A reflection on the clientele maybe? Our room on the 3rd floor is worse. Huge noise from the neighbouring rooms. Walls pretty thin. Only one night. Thank god

5 days the room was never cleaned, towels were not replaced even after i asked for them. Kitchen was closed one morning. Hand sanitizer stations are just for show they are empty.

For a high-end hotel, one would expect high-end service. Besides one front desk staff, Paolo, who was helpful and courteous, the other two staff members were not only not helpful, but actually rude. We were very disappointed with the service. The room was up to expectations, very clean and comfortable; the break at the hotel restaurant was definitely worth it, but unfortunately, the breakfast was not available on the weekend.
