Hotel staff when checking in was very friendly, hotel room was outdated and dirty, bed was not comfortable, the location is great! No continental breakfast and the restaurant connected to hotel is awe full

Not bad for the price as long as you don’t plan to spend much time in room. Once arrived and getting settled tv didn’t work, outlets didn’t work at first, went to take shower water was scolding hot, thought I booked a room with 2 queen size beds, beds were tad bigger than a twin, needed to get a roll away bed. Staff is very friendly, reasonably priced, great view!!!

The view was spectacular. The hotel is quite old, but clean and reasonably priced for Oceanfront. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Dolphins swimming by early morning!

We try to stay here every time we come to Va Beach. Great location. We love The Oceanfront ion. Friendly staff, clean, welcoming, parking, not a corporate owned hotel. All around great.

We stayed for the night prior to the Shamrock Marathon to avoid parking and all the chaos in the morning. Hotel is conveniently located too many shops restaurants and ice cream/candy places. Every stack number I encountered was pleasurable and were all smiling. Not the nicest place but not bad at all fairly clean and a great indoor pool for the kids!

The staff was amazing, everyone pleasant and helpful. Location great. Oceanfront view. Very clean but a little outdated. Our room could have used a fresh coat of paint, especially in bathroom. Mattresss need an upgrade . The kids loved the indoor pool.

It was okay--nice place but the internet didn't work the entire time and I'm not used to that. Plus the amenities didn't include microwaves.

Good value. Adequate but old facilities - heater & bathroom fan loud. Good ocean view, parking & location close to restaurants though most were closed in January.

Maid service poor.replaced daily linens with dirty ones. No micro waves in rooms stated old hotel and could blow fuses.did not replace coffee packs on a daily based. Did not sweep floors

Bathrooms need to be updated and the beds. TV could have been a little bigger. Refrigerator didnt close so it wasnt cooling correctly. No microwave to reheat food.

The room was cool. I had never been to a hotel that didn't have bedspreads on the beds. We were brought blankets. The toilet did not flush very well. No microwave either. Otherwise, room was fairly clean and confortable.

Right on the beach! Coming in for a business trip brought the wife to enjoy the beach. What you don’t get with this stay, breakfast, a fan in your room, no bottles of water unless you get from a vending machine (which was empty on 3 different floors.) The shower floor was soft as if about to break. This building is 50 years old and shows. Although the view from the balcony is very nice we wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean! Nice balcony and oceanfront views. Nothing fancy but everything I needed. I liked how the hotel had hardwood floors instead of carpet. Located next to the Poseidon statue so access to the music during the summer and close to shopping and restaurants. My only complaint is there’s no comforter on the bed, just two very thin sheets, I could have gotten blankets downstairs but didn’t realize until I got in very late and didn’t think of going down to the desk at 2am for extra blankets. But overall, great stay!

The property has some wear and tear, but the room was clean and the staff were all very friendly. Loved that the rooms have a normal sized trash can, and the shower had great water pressure. We had a wonderful view of the ocean from the balcony. We didn’t get to try the pool or the restaurant, but both looked inviting. We would stay here again.

Loved the View - just perfect location. Parking was a little tight especially in the indoor across street, but understand its at a premium so no real complaint. Staff was terrific. Could use Coffee avalable throughout the day if i had one gripe.

I’ve had stayed here 7 or 8 times in the last 10 years for my trips down for the airshow at Oceana. I love the beachfront room! It’s clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you want to pay twice as much for something fancier, go for it! But this place is great for the price and I will be back for sure!

Location was great. Beds were hard, sheets were like sand paper and they only had a sheet with a faux comforter no thicker than a sheet. The water in the shower would be warm, cold then scalding hot.

The staff was so helpful.They let a friend( I hadn’t seen in 40years) come and visit us. They even let her park in the parking area for 2hours and watched her at also. They went above and beyond. Staff are amazing!!! Thank You Judith Browning
