We loved the hotel's location. It was a 17-minute walk to Times Square, 5 minutes from the Empire State Building, and a short subway ride to the Battery and 9/11. The hotel and staff were great, but the location rocked.

Employees at front desk were very kind, and hotel is very well located. Unfortunately not even a restroom in the lobby nor the gym were up and running. Breakfast is ok. Sheets and towels were scratchy.

Room was super clean and a nice size. Staff was friendly. Perfect location.
3.0
No room make up, so no clean towels or coffee replacement. I had to get replacement coffee from the front desk. For the price, I believe I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel.
Very convenient location.

great location. Big room. Great value. Great condition.

I messed up my reservation- TOTALLY my fault, I am the first to admit that (I was waiting on a court date in SDNY and it kept changing). I got an email from Hotels.com asking about checkin and then found I had NOT canceled. Hotels.com contacted the manager and worked it out on my behalf and only had to pay that first night as a penalty (totally fair) not the other two nights. So the manager was fantastic, fair, and responsive. I usually stay at Hampton Inns they are the best. This one is in a prime location so good value for the money

The hotel is good but we have to pay 120 extra for parking and the hallway is ready small

Room was clean, the staff is friendly and the location was great for us. Room was reasonably priced, but small.

Excellent stay at Hampton Inn. Great location for all the big sights, Broadway one side, 5th Avenue the other. View of Empire State Building from our window was an unexpected bonus. Good selection of breakfast, comfy beds and friendly staff.
5.0
Other than the location, there is nothing appealing about this hotel. Rooms, linens, everything is very dirty. Hotel for one time.

This is a very convient inexpensive decent hotel in midtown, mostly tourists. Unfortunately on the weekend it becomes marijuana central, so be ready to have the smell overwhelming your room from rooms down the hall. Managment needs to deal with this problem.

Comfy bedding.
Small room.
Loud airconditioner.
Great location. Felt safe.
Breakfast area was way too crowded.

Everyone was friendly and accommodating

Older hotel with tiny outdated rooms. Breakfast staff are horribly unhelpful and super rude! I asked for a gluten free option and was told to have a grapefruit (which they did not have). Although breakfast is served until10:00 they stop putting things out at 9:30. If you ask for more cutlery or jam they stare at you and walk away. Very noisy doors that slam all hours of the night. Great safe neighborhood, easy walk to Time Square and Broadway!

Good location. Very small room even for NYC

Quiet and clean room, good breakfast array, small fitness room.

Excellent location near the subway . The employees are very courteous and willing to help. The breakfast is very complete. Two points to improve: there is a long wait for the elevators at some times of the day and the soundproofing of the room is not good all night long, you can hear the knocking of the doors closing and people talking in the hallway.

So close to everything! We walked everywhere. The staff was so nice and helpful

Left my necklace on a lamp on the desk. Called and told them and they said no one had picked it up. Sure.

Easy in and out

Great location, very busy at breakfast and it seems that the tiny dining area is not equipped for the volume of guests.
Room was fine - a bit on the small side with a lovely view of a brick wall but all in all our stay was ok.
10.0
The perfect location if you want to visit the sites in Manhattan, especially if you want to be near the theater district.
8.0
The breakfast was not very good at all and the elevator is the slowest in the city

Very nice place

Wet clean room and bathroom. Exceptionally friendly staff. Parking was a bit inconvenient (no valet, garage about 200 feet away and staff there were very prompt and friendly as well) area outside of hotel was clean but neighboring properties had something nasty going on (hosing out a restaurant? Maybe fooding?) one of the hotel elevators broke for a few hours right during breakfast which was very inconvenient. They should have extended breakfast hours.

Front desk was pleasant. Bed was comfy but our room was on the second floor facing the entrance and couldn't get proper sleep. People outside were loud (this hotel is right next to a very popular restaurant that usually has a line) and construction work nearby happening all hours of the night. Covers were thin so ask for extra blankets or bring layers during winter. We cranked up the heater and that was also loud and room got too stuffy.
Shower head was also broken and due to the room being an accesible type, water just sprayed everywhere! Thankfully front desk sent an engineer who replaces the showerhead in 20 minutes.
Breakfast was fine!

The breakfast was good, but it’s the second time I stayed here and one of the elevator is broken. It was horrible. Marcela was our cleaning lady and we asked more than three times for more towels. She didn’t sweep the floor.

Hotel is an excellent location. Close to the subway, Macys, Empire State Bldg. 15 minute walk to Times Square. Lots of food options in the area. Breakfast is typical Hampton, not great but you can find something. Rooms have individual climate control which was appreciated. Rooms have everything you need and are comfortable. Like many NY hotels, the elevator is slow. We were glad to be on the 3rd floor so we could use the stairs. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

The elevator was so slow!!!

Our stay was amazing! Starting with the super friendly, courteous and helpful staff. From holding our luggage before check in, to checking in, and random questions for extra supplies, to checking out, then holding our luggage after check out until we were ready to go to thw airport. The rooms were very neat and clean. Hotel was located close to everything. The daily breakfast was a plus, it was good, not too many hotels offer free breakfast, The Subway stations/stops were close by. Overall our stay was very comfortable and definitely a home away from home. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Excellent service from staff, great location, good breakfast, clean room

I CANNOT recommend this place. It was shabby and just downright gross in some areas. The shower and heating/air vent were disgusting. The rest of the room as shabby at best. The entire hotel is incredibly narrow, including the room and bathroom. The building is very tall, and only has two very small elevators, which also has to ferry the cleaning staff up and down with their carts because they appear to lack a service elevator. We had to let multiple elevators go by because there was just no room. We eventually had to get in the elevator going up just so we could ride it back down once it got to the top. This hotel is not worth the price at all. DON’T STAY HERE.

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. My kids loved the hot cocoa & tea all night and the breakfast
Definitely would stay there again!!

No early check-in was a slight disappointment. Also, there was as a lot of noise from the street below from 9pm to midnight. However, the buffet breakfast was expansive and delicious! And the room was very clean.
