False advertising! Agree with previous comment that the King room shows photo with a sofa and armchair, very spacious (that’s why we booked this hotel), but instead we received a tiny room with barely room for the bed. Sean at the front desk admitted they need to change the photo, and said that no “standard” room has a sofa. He gave me a Hyatt account and said I’d get a free night, but the account doesn’t work online and I’m on a cruise so can’t call. The first time we’ve had this kind of problem with a hotels.com booking!

It was amazing as the details was described. Close to every restaurant and shopping district and the best walking distance to the Long Beach Convention center. Love the smell of the ocean breeze. I will make the next future reservation again for the next event in Long Beach.

The manager on call the eafternoon of our check-in was excellent. He helped to clear up confusion regarding our expedia reservation and assured that we received a great room promptly.

Nice and clean hotel. A lot to do and eat in the area. The only bad thing is the parking situation although there is a parking garage close by, there should be a voucher from the hotel, it was inconvenient to have to be paying each time you wanted to leave and re -enter the parking garage. Also the garage pricing was pretty high.

The room was clean and spacious. Definitely will be staying here again. Rooftop pool and views are great. Close to stores and restaurants along the waterfront.

We stayed at the location to get on our cruise. We visited Disneyland for 2 days Ubers cost $60 each way for an XL (6 ppl). There are a ton of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Also, about 10 min drive to the port. I want to visit again.

There is a lot to list for this place but i can sum up my experience that it was truly amazing and we enjoyed our stay at Hyatt the Pike. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and it's location was in the center of the shopping outlet so that made it very easy to walk and discover the area more. Also being away like 10 min. Walk from the aquarium was a huge plus. This area is stunning and relaxing especially and night. Their pool up in the roof was clean and warm. I personally loved having a quick night swim while overlooking the nice lights of the surroundings. My only con was the wifi. We could not connect to the wifi during our stay because of a technical issues and an engineer will have to come and fix it. We didn't really have time to fix that issue as we were not staying that long. Otherwise my family and I enjoyed our time there and will definitely love to come back.

Staff offered good customer service and the studio sweet was nice and spacious. This hotel does not have very good insulation. We could hear everything, even other rooms flushing their toilets. At night someone was doing burnouts in the intersection and the parkade where hotel parking is not very safe. A car alarm was going off the 2nd night and the Sheriff was downstairs in the morning.

We signed up for suite with king bed. The room was very clean and spacious. Disliked: 1. Although bathroom was very clean and well presented, we disliked water pressure from shower. 2. Hallway noise from foot traffic and ice machine use was noticeable during sleep hours. Otherwise, access to downtown streets and shopping around hotel was great.

Before uncovering the sheets, I sat down on the bed and saw a bed bug crawling on top of the comfortable. I hadn't been in the room for more than 10 min. Staff was incredibly helpful and nice, but I simply couldn't stay here.

I rented a room with a King bed. It didn’t look like the photos. No couch at all. Only had one uncomfortable chair. Room was clean. Bathroom was nice. AC couldn’t be set lower than 66. The room got hot & had no air movement. Fridge was not cold. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Room was located on the 5th floor with windows to the quiet inner courtyard. Windows did open but we didn’t want to disturb our neighbors nor wanted them to be able to look in. I would stay again, but should’ve asked for a different room with a working AC & a couch as shown in the photos.

Cute smaller hotel that's super convenient to the core of LB. Unfortunately, it was also extremely noisy. One side of the building faces a mall that pumps out loud music at almost all hours; the other side faces a courtyard that had super loud construction going on. Had a pretty rough time sleeping. Also, the layout of the room is a bit strange; the bathroom is like 12 inches from the bed, so if anyone gets up to "go" at night, everyone else is listening. All that said, staff were friendly and helpful.

My room was overall clean. My issue was the service. I called and asked for a kettle for hot water and utensils and never got it. The next day I called and asked for extra towels and my towels never came so I had to improvise with my shower.

Pros: The front desk staff was helpful; the bed was very comfortable and plush (many pillows); the shower was awesome (rain shower head and regular shower head); the room was very clean; the bellhop stored our bags after we checked out; the on-site cafe was convenient; the outlet and restaurants in walking distance were awesome; the rooftop pool (its heated) and cabanas were relaxing; the hotel’s location was in a prime spot. Cons: There was a music festival the same weekend we came to town, so people were loud a few nights while there (in their hotel rooms, on the streets). Overall: Would definitely sleep here again

We enjoyed that everybody was very hospitable, and they actually had still a flame about the jobs that they were doing and weren’t just there to make the money which is very unusual, especially where we come from, we also enjoyed that that restaurants were very clean and the atmosphere was relaxed . Not.a great hotel: - Very small room - Bed not comfortable (sagged toward the middle) - Extremely noisy the last night (lots of yelling and loud voices) - Hotel not in an easy to find location - Parking arrangement inconvenient for in- and out- usage - Very few places to eat nearby and the place to eat in the hotel was too limited On the plus side, the staff were very friendly and tried their best to be helpful.

The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Had a wonderful stay. There were a couple of small maintenance items that needed to be addressed in the room which we brought to the staff’s attention and they handled them immediately. Happy with the response and customer service. Beds were comfortable and rooms were updated and clean.
