Needed lodging for 1 night and did not want to spend a lot of money just to sleep. The room was clean but also dated, we were placed in the motel part of the hotel (?) and although I asked for 2 queen beds we got 2 full size beds instead, the room is very small and the bathroom was also very tight. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. This room was good enough for a 1 nighter with 2 people and not 3. The receptionist that checked me in was friendly and helpful. Somehow housekeeping thought we had exited the room and just opened the door while we were still preparing to leave. She was very remorseful but perhaps she should have knocked first. I may consider staying there again as prices for Seward's lodging is pricey. The restaurant is awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and service.

This is Alaska and winter when I stayed here so it is what it is. Roads are ice, slush, and a mess, so it is loads of fun but that is at all properties. We used two rooms…… one had a wash rag that was hanging that was missed in the cleanup and meanwhile in the main hotel side, we met Jerry (the mouse) in lobby and again on the second floor. We could not find Tom. Maybe Tom should be there lol? Great value if you can laugh off those comments I made. Not the place for anyone ritzy.

Second time staying here. It is not fancy but that’s okay. It was clean, safe and had hot water. The staff were very pleasant. Ate our meals at the Breeze Inn restaurant and every meal was delicious.

The Breeze inn is in the harbor area of Seward, it is a great location for visiting Seward. The double beds seem to be long, fitting taller guests better. We discovered our door lock didn’t work very well, and in fact the locked door popped open on its own.

We stayed here to take a cruise ship into Alaska. The hotel areas were cozy, the location was great and the staff was very friendly. From the train to the hotel, and the hotel to the cruise ship we had a shuttle to pick us up and drops us off. And they took care of our baggage so we could go and explore the town.

Did not have high expectations considering the great price of the room, but really wasn't prepared for a 'peek-a boo' view of the restaurant dumpster under the stairwell roof and the high traffic along the walkway outside the room.

I'd suggest to get an upgraded room because that would mean that your room is inside the big main structure, which means much better experience. We were lucky enough to be in such room and we loved it. The room was pretty silent, large, comfortable, and with perfect temperature to sleep.

Building is run down and layout is very confusing, for the money I thought it would be nicer and the location is deceiving because the business owns a unused building across from the marina but the hotel is behind that so the view is not great. Diner does have good food

It has that ‘ no tell motel’ vibe. overall aged but clean. You can easily hear kids running around on the floor above. Friendly staff in the hotel BUT NOT THE RESTAURANT. But they were very understaffed so I gave them a break. Don’t expect to get out of the restaurant quickly.

Location is fine. You’re a mile walk from downtown. It’s a bit loud as hotel is on main road. I was in the older part of the hotel. Paper thin walls. If you’re a light sleeper this isn’t the place for you. Everyone walking by your room you could hear them. Rooms are tiny. Beds are small. Staff was great.

Not bad for a weekend getaway. The restaurant and pub is right next to the hotel, so very convenient for meals. Also, the proximity to the waterfront and a short walk to downtown makes the location almost ideal. It is a good value for what you pay.

We had clearly indicated by a sign on the door, to the staff on the hall and to the desk not to clean the room while we were out. We had things in there we didn't want touched. They came in anyway. When the desk was approached about this breach they brushed it off and said come back in the morning ask the day staff. Other than that it is old, overpriced and where the 1960's go to die.

Some rooms are in the Annex but still free parking, walking distance to marina and restaurants. The room had everything we needed. There is a restaurant on site but we didn't try it. Check-in and checkout were super easy and quick.

This place showed a lot better in the pix than it did in reality. It's really just a motel, and the location is not good, in the middle of a commercial area. The room was OK, but with some details that required updating or repair. All-in-all, not worth the price.

Our annex room overlooked the waterfront. Restaurant and lounge had excellent service and local atmosphere. Other shopping and dining opportunities near by, including a nice little coffee spot . However, the sheets were scratchy.
