We reserved a room here after our flight was canceled (after we had already boarded). For our very brief day, the resort was lovely. We enjoyed dinner at the seafood restaurant and because of lack of rooms, we ended up being upgraded to the preferred VIP suites. Our only issue was that I had reserved the room online but when we arrived, it turned out it wasn’t actually fully confirmed. This was a little concerning, but they were able to get a room for us. Having the VIP suite was particularly nice.

My whirlpool in my room flooded the first night. Room service took long1-2 hours. My room was done twice out of five days

I expected more fun on site, paddle, snorkel etc... It didn't have enough available although on paper they do. The property needs some tlc. Arrival was complicated and upsale every step of the way. I did not know of the connection to the 3 hotels, very classest!! Nothing high class. Enjoyed , but would not go back.

Secrets is not a place I will find myself again. The service in this resort was lacking in many areas. By 7am each day, all pool chairs were “reserved” by staff for customers who many days did not show up til around noon if they showed up at all. Restaurant availability was upwards of 2 hours on a rainy night which is extremely excessive. Next to no entertainment by the pools each day. Even when there was, lack of engagement by staff was evident. Jamaica has always been one of the most lively and Friendly Islands I’ve ever experienced, this was not the case here. There were days you couldn’t even get a drink with your meal. I’ll be back at the RIU for my next stay.

We had a wonderful time at Secrets Wild Orchid. We had butler service and Kenroy was fantastic and made our trip very memorable. Our only hang up was we arrived a day late due to weather delays and our check in process was a disaster. Property was very nice and the service from the employees was great. The food was mediocre.

Secrets is located close to the airport so lots of travel wasn't required. Although the beaches are small, we got chairs every day and enjoyed the beautiful water. The staff was very friendly and service was good. There were plenty of activities and they had staff on property to help us book excursions. The food was really good at the Italian and French restaurants and the rest was fine. The room wasn't as luxurious as other resorts I've been to, but we weren't there very often and we did enjoy the balcony for our morning coffee. We would recommend.

I like how the resort had a large beach front since it was sharing with 3 other resorts and it's quiet with no merchants. I didn't like that the resort only had buffet at dinner on Friday Saturday and Sunday. And all of the days we were there we didn't had any lobster or crab night ...which the 10 other resorts I went had, if not every night.

The property was great like most things little things can always be refreshed. I think the rooms can benefit from a dehumidifier to help with the dampness of the room. Aside from this which is not a deal breaker all else was excellent. We were originally concerned when reading the reviews for this resort. I can tell you they were wrong on every level. Every staff member there was helpful, extremely friendly and did everything with a smile. Taiesha from check in, Alysse in concierge and Whitney on the sales force to name a few. We hope to see all of you soon sincerely room 2324.

The Secrets Wild Orchid was great! The drinks were good and there are many different restaurants with good food. Although the check in was too long (1h) the service in general was very good and the staff was very nice. Paul, the bartender at the Piano Bar was amazing. Richard the aquaerobics instructors was the best! Overall we really had a good time and we would recommend to stay here

This resort is perfectly fine, but not the most classy and elegant type of place. A lot of guests here get value from all the drinks and meals they consumed. We prefer resorts that are a bit more quieter and high class. Nothing so bad here, just not our type of place for the high price we paid.

Was in the junior suite ocean view preferred and would rate my stay an 8/10! Only critiques is the preferred pool needs more than one pool attendant serving guests and better air conditioning in check in area and inside restaurants.
