We LOVED our stay at the La Aldea de la Selva Lodge! We were in the area to go to Iguazu Falls, and this was a perfect location! It was probably the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at because it was in the jungle! It was a really AWESOME experience! We felt like we were on Survivor, walking to tribal council each night as we headed to our cabin. The hotel is a little bit older, and there is a musty smell, but I figure it's from the high humidity. It was very, very clean. We really liked the breakfast buffet as well--very high quality food. The staff was friendly and helpful as well.

Loved the atmosphere of this hotel, the grounds, and dining area were very nice. Our room was large, spacious, clean and private the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had many choices and was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

This was one of the most amazing stays, being in the forest is such a surreal experience - the sounds, the sweet smell of the forest, the resident cats! We visited in the first week of April and stayed in room Botanica 18, which had a hot tub on the balcony - this came in handy when the rain started. We also enjoyed the pool (which is open 9 am to 9 pm) - we went at 8 pm, and we had the whole pool area for ourselves, plus the water was the perfect temperature.
The restaurant was also delicious, just don't forget to make a reservation! Throughout our stay all staff were so welcoming and friendly and spoke great English. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful lodge, however we were without water for almost 24 hours. That was very stressful. Staff did provide water bottles in the meantime at no cost.
The bed was very comfy. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool, but it looked lovely!
