The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. When I asked for an extra heater, they brought one to my room right away and regularly checked in to make sure everything was working properly. I got sick during my stay, and the front desk was kind enough to help me call a local taxi so I could get to a clinic. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to my friends. It’s in a very convenient location, just a short walk from the town center, and the service truly made the stay even better.

Hotel Kimal was the perfect base for our exploration of San Pedro de Atacama. It is right in the town, walking distance from everything. Our self-contained villa/cabin was spacious, comfortable, private, quiet and warm (with a spa bath!) and the staff at Hotel Kimal were extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating. Special shout out to Cristian who looked after us impeccably. Top choice for San Pedro!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Kimal. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The hotel has a good, secure car park, which was very convenient, and the location is excellent—just a short walk from the main street, making it easy to explore San Pedro de Atacama’s restaurants, shops, and attractions.
Our room was comfortable and clean, and the bed provided a great night’s sleep. The only small improvement I would suggest would be the addition of a headboard, which would make the bed even more comfortable for reading or relaxing.
As the hotel is so close to the town centre, there was some street noise at times, but this is simply a consequence of the excellent location and certainly not the hotel’s fault.
Overall, Hotel Kimal is a charming place to stay with fantastic staff, a perfect location, and comfortable accommodation. We would happily stay here again.
